This whole thread confuses me. Epic is actually a type of genre in a sense (Braveheart, The Ten Commandments, Gladiator, etc.).
Some of the people in here seem to be trying to name Epic movies but I don't think they even know what the definition of Epic is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epic_film
List of films: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_epic_films

Well if you read what the OP is actually asking for, I don't think he specifically means an Epic movie as in the genre 'Epic'. Yes, he lists Seven Samuri but if you look he also lists Good the Bad and the Ugly. Which isn't an 'Epic', but it's 'fuckin' epic m8'. So, yeah.

Yes, he lists Seven Samuri
That is what threw me off. There's only one type of "epic" when it comes to movies for me...but epic takes on a whole new meaning when it comes to other stuff
But I can come up with a list of pretty epic Epics

The wiki list of Epic movies is awfully short though.

Goddamn it, Leeroy.
Btw, Seven Samurai is in fact on that wiki list.
At least I have chicken.
