Notice the "S" on Movie"s" I am not talking about the piece of shit Epic Movie(Which I don't recommend to anyone) I'm talking about movies that are epic, like Seven Samurai, The Good The Bad and The Ugly(just naming the last ones I've seen). So, I want a recommendation for a movie that is epic, the kind of movie where I'll eat a truckload of popcorn, a movie that gives me shivers, and when I'm done watching that movie, I want to get up and say. "Holy Fuck. That was great."

Those aren't epic...
Truth..300 was supposed to be so epic that it was going to make you shit your pants when you saw it.
well...it was pretty....
other than that, meh.
Star Wars iv, v, and vi are epic. pulp fiction! evil dead - army of darkness! (im joking! or...am I? =P)
I dunno, it's hard to think about. braveheart = fucking epic.
Maybe not epic, but a really good movie I've been wanting to see again lately is The Thin Red Line..WWII flick. It's great.

awesome thai movie coming out, if you dont mind reading subtitles, looks to be about as 'EPIC' as you can get for an action movie, all fight scenes are 100% real, no stunt doubles, and with an intriguing storyline aswell (imo)

epic, like Seven Samurai, The Good The Bad and The Ugly
You've got the right idea!
I hate to read all of this 300/TROY bovine dung
THOSE ARE NOT EPICS!!!
An epic typically has a cast reaching well above 1000 people. That's the film school definition.
If you like Sergio Leone a.nd GBU in particular, I'm going to have to highly suggest: DUCK YOU SUCKER, AKA: FISTFUL OF DYNAMITE.
It's even more epic than GBU.
Guns, Gold, Ganj, & Ammunition.

Actually, I passed infront of the DVD case at Wal Mart, I knew it was Sergio Leone because of the DVD case's cover. You just made me remember I wanted to see that movie. Maybe the only western I haven't seen from Sergio Leone. I'll check it out, hopefully it's still on that Wal-Mart shelf.

While I like many of the movies you listed..I wouldn't call them -epic- or anything, ya know?

I guess the ending of the Pirates of the Carribean 3 springs to my mind for epic.
I mean... a Wedding, in the middle of a zombie pirate swordfight, while exchanging cannon-fire, in the middle of a maelstorm(whirlpool whatever), in the rain, because they pissed off a god..
I know it's not a great movie and I for one will probably never watch it again, but it seems like the writers all sat down and thought right - let's define the word epic in the last scene.
Also the 'buddy-ish' scenes from the final fight scene in Spider-Man 3 sort of strikes the same note.
