I feel so sorry nearly every day for a couple of my mates who are vegetarians, the school has a giant barbie and they're just standing there looking like chumps.

But yeah, for those who actually haven't been to Adelaide, you can't knock it. We've got better water than Melbourne's (not grainy), good shopping (Rundle Mall), great food (Central Market), a nice river going right past the city (the Torrens, with paddleboats icon_biggrin.gif) and of course AAMI Stadium. It may not compare to, say, the MCG or GABBA or something like that, but it still is a great stadium. I'm still waiting for something bad about Adelaide to really show.

like, if melbourne got picked over sydney for capital, fair enough, cos they have horses and hats and good beer and whatnot.

but, like, oh yeah, 'lets build a new city because we can't decide between melbourne or sydney.'

and i say all this with no offense to the good people of canberra or melbourne.
