How the hell do you get that much for work experience? That's insane!
We just had a whole group of kids start a 2 week work experience... When i mean whole group, there's like 30 or something. It was insane walking around the store yesterday. The funny thing is that today is our big stocktake, so instead of having to pay a whole heap of casuals to come in, they can use the work experience kids for just $5 for the whole day... Slave labour, but very smart way to do it!

You pay the work experience kids?
I never got paid.
Then again I didn't exactly work either so it worked out.

What came first, the spamming or the misery? People worry about kids playing with guns, or watching violent videos, that some sort of culture of violence will take them over. Nobody worries about kids reading thousands, literally thousands of posts about anime, 4chan, flaming, goatse and emos. Did I make terrible posts because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I made terrible posts?

I did work experience for 2 weeks at 774 ABC Radio and Triple J in Southbank in melbourne in the Marketing department and in the radio producers area.
I got paid absolutely nothing because it's government run, but I got to raid the prize cabinet because I cleaned it and I took around 200 bucks worth of DVDs in there...

Woo at the illusion of freedom!
Finished my last assessment, got over a crappy crappy flu, and now have the joy of my part time work becoming full-time during end of semester break.
No holidays for Talecapod

... of course every one would chose Coles over Triple J if they had a choice between working in a deli and getting a shitload of free dvd's....
I did my work experience at a primary school as a PE teachers assistant... it was awesome... but i didn't get any free dvd's...

I did my work experiance at a computer store. Was pretty sweet... just sat there fixing PC's all day. Might sound boring to most but its what I enjoy. Scored a soundcard and a copy of windows 98 (that was in 1998 so it was actually useful back then).
I did a wollies stocktake once... never again... they treat you like scum but the pay for a single day isnt too bad really. Getting work experiance kids to do it is awesome... teach them that work sucks
