I've been listening to a lot of punk lately, pretty good stuff. I like a lot of the "Crack Rocksteady" bands that have been named earlier (Choking Victim, Morning Glory, No Ca$h and Leftover Crack) as well as a few normal punk bands such as Fleas and Lice and Rancid. I'll update the bands listed here as I discover more that I like.
It's not hypocritical at all. The Nazis were against all groups other than Germanic peoples, including every religious group that was not protestant Christianity and homosexuals (there were probably more than that).
The Confederacy broke away from the USA for a lot of reasons, but one main reason was that there was a disagreement on whether slavery should be legal or not. Even though there were slaves in the USA, the CSA had more. All of the slaves (to my knowledge, I could be wrong) were African Americans. It had nothing to do with uniting the Germanic peoples and crushing "inferior" races.

also, my mate OWNED him SOOO hard. this "punk" guy always wears this old leather jacket with all the studs and all the badges and shit. so anyway, he has this one badge that says "NAZI PUNKS FUCK OFF" and right next to it he has a confederate flag badge..
isn't that a bit hypocritical?
correct me if im wrong please. but isn't the whole confederate flag all about yobo's with black slaves and shit? (im really stupid and know just about NOTHING about history.)

me and some decide to all punk week .where dressed up as punks (some of us didnt need to). i have to say this it was great the music ,cloths( exscuse to be cheap), the environment, sticking it to the man, and the drunking.
the music gave me an excuse to be a idiot pretending that i was fighting against the big man. a battle we never we . thanks to apple , microsoft, walmart, and all the other wanker. it gave me some relief from the stress from society. yay. that why punk music is good.

here's a pretty good rule of thumb. If a band calls themselves punk, they're not. If a band sounds and looks like shit, they probably are.

Doesn't mean they are good. Black Flag is good, not Anti Flag. Yuck.
(Wasn't implying that you think they are good by the way)

This.
I think punk bands generally like to make it a point to alienate themselves from there fan base... and then anyone left who likes there music they just make fun of...
