It was, and it didn't look anything like that.

Well, for some it's difficut to tell the difference from one 8-bit game to another lol.

And on that note I'm stumped on that and I don't think knowing the console would help either.

actually...MG 1 and 2 were on MSX THEN ported to nintendo...alot of people seem to make that mistake.

Heyyo,

Hehehe, since no one can guess I'll give you guys a few hints:

1. It's on two systems actually, Arcade and NES.

2. Was a pretty unique game, first one of its kind, there was a few others like the crappy cowboy theemed one on SNES that was made of fail and pretty much why we don't see games like it again.. the other cowboys and indian version of this game was kickass though.

And nope, another hint would be there's an aiming reticle on the screen that does move faster than your guy does in order to aim at enemies, and you shoot at enemies with guns and can toss grenades, and when enemies shoot at you, you want to move to either the left or the right to avoid bullets.

Hint: It's an early 90s command controlled adventure game, probably one of the best of all time. (By command controlled I mean text based commands with graphics).
