So, I'm moving from Australia to Toronto, Canada (obviously, duh!) and seeing how one of my favourite net shows is made there I was wondering if you all had any suggestions on the city, getting a job (I'm a PHP/MYSQL dev & admin by trade) and what's there to do....

I'm sure there's some place you can go to that helps newcomers to the city. Like a guide, or introduction video. "SO YOU WANNA LIVE IN CANADA EH?"

About getting a job, since you're a n00b to country you could try applying for job agencies to help you look for one. Seems to work a treat for some people. You seem pretty qualified so I'm sure the agency will help you find the right position.

EDIT: Vegemite is fucking awesome.

Wiki said the taste is somewhat salty, slightly bitter and malty.

I can understand being kinda salty/bitter at the same time, but malty? Uhm, doesn't sound that good to me.

Of course I seem to like kimchi, and there are people who can't understand why I eat that so. icon_razz.gif

Agreed.

Too much vegemite is bad, but it tastes so good in moderation.

I have Vegemite sandwiches everyday at school. It's great.
