I've just watched some of his past interviews and shit on Youtube and I'm even more convinced than I normally am that he is mentally ill.

He claims that Halo can train snipers, the fuck-ups who did Columbine trained on Doom. Doom. You can't look up or down. Nuff said.

But I reckon Pure Pwnage would be a gold mine for him. The Gamer Army, well, I'm sure he could leach that one for years. Maybe one thread from Crap could keep him going for a few hours.

He's made me so fucking angry that I'm physically shaking. How people can be taken in by his complete shit makes me wanna give him a swift one to the nuts.

I think it's some random fat guy dressing up for Winter-een-mas. I mean, he's got the cape and the sceptre, all he's missing is the crown. But he does have a power glove, so he wins a few points for that one. icon_wink.gif

Actually, I did some mild looking-into his history with the gaming community... and wow, he has some very childish, nasty, immature things to say.

Also, as for it not being for financial gain, there are several times where money came into play. For example, in 1992, he filed a lawsuit against the Florida Bar Association, but instead of pursuing the matter, as someone with a truly noble agenda would do, he settled for an out-of-court 20K.

When Thompson challenged Jason Della Rocca of the IGDA to a video game debate, he stated that they could each get $3,000 per event, but when Della Rocca said he didn't want to get paid, Thompson declined. (Of course, this is according to Della Rocca, but I'd believe him over some money-grubbing, ignorant lunatic).

There's a plethora of terrible things this man has done, out of both ignorance and self-gain. I personally don't find anything noble about him at all. In fact, using such a "noble" cause as a front to get himself money is a disgusting way to behave.

Edit: Sorry, forgot to comment on the video/song. It's awesomely done! I love how you string his words together to make him say stuff against his own "beliefs" XD And the video is cool, I love the fighter-esque scenes between him and Nintendo/Sony. Awesomestuff
