before i join in putting some brutal shit on the internets, i was wondering what shoutcast software i should use because i am a n00b at it lol, it has to be free coz i can't send monies into the internets lol.

the SHOTcast DSP Plugin for Winamp is totally free bro icon_wink.gif also there is now setup info for it on the Pure Phonix site

hay guys and gals! ive just been trying to clear an epic backlog of PM's that have already built up. major appologies if I missed anyone out, but basicly the state of affairs is this:

Due to the *MASSIVE* demand for airtime, coupled with the calling of RL, I am temporarily freezing new applications for the next week

sorry to anyone who is put out by this, but I had absolutly no idea that we'd be flooded with so many applications! of course, keep em coming! just bear in mind i wont be responding to any for the next week while I sort things out with RL and make some site modifications. I hope you all understand. lol, now I know how Jarett and Geoff feel icon_razz.gif so many PM's, so little time! Anyway yeh, sorry guys, but dont be dissapointed if I dont respond icon_wink.gif

yeh we still have a fair few slots free, so we aint maxed out yet lol icon_razz.gif also someone (i think it was sp1ke but correct me if im wrong) suggested multiple "parallel" streams which would increase our DJ cap and let listeners choose what they want to listen to at any given moment. given the huge demand for airtime, I'm starting to think this isnt a bad idea lol icon_razz.gif its certainly something the SHOUTcast host supports, and thus is more than doable if we run out of space (which, at the given rate of expansion, should be about... tomorrow? icon_lol.gif least it would be if I were taking new apps right now icon_razz.gif) so yeh, DJ cap is effectively about 24 times however many consecutive streams we can have, which is probably as many as we like lol icon_razz.gif
