Heyyy
Here's some sketchy stuff, the mojo, is it back?

Also, I think I might just start a sketch/art blog instead of spamming here - can anyone recommend a good blog-ish hoster... thing.

Awesome. As I've said before, I love the way you draw things, it all looks sort of... chunky... I can't really explain it. Just

And I look forward to a blog.

This. Fealiks knows what he's talking about here, unlike the rest of the people in this thread. I'll probably slap a lock on this and sticky it so that people can make a good example of his intelligence.

Okey dokey.
I've set up a blog so I can stop necroing this thread and dragging it through the archives.

You can visit it here, and I think you can RSS subscribe if you want - dunno.

Thanks for the miscellaneous support and whatnot folks!

Giant cocks obviously. That green soul-less dinosaur is pretty swank.

EDIT: Thought about doing prints?

I have thought about prints, but they are expensive to start up (would be doing it small scale by myself),
and I don't think that there is anything worth repeating yet. Cock is only really good when you aren't looking close. (How true)

Me wants something abstract.. I think some others would too. You could sell them off as, well "Gamer Abstract" something involving DS and colors of the rainbow and and and stuff.
Don't click this shit.

That's unfortunate to hear man, but don't let that get you down -
there are people out there that paint watercolours with their feet : /
Is it that you can't control your hands, or just not in minute amounts.
If it's that you can't do small fine things, practice doing really big things,
that aren't necessarily as accurate - i'll try and find some examples.

I came back to check on this cause I would like some straight up feedback.
I am doing a painting for a friend, and have it next to me with the paint drying.
I intend to add more to it with some dry media, but still, I would like to know if it's complete shit or not.
(I've been staring at this fucker for hours and it just doesn't look like anything anymore.)

You paint like you draw. I don't know if that's good or bad.

With the dry media I'm assuming you plan to refine the edges somehow.

Right now the colours are lacking contrast.

It's very fuggin' eerie - I'd probably fiddle around with the tusks a lil more
I but think it's great, the colours, the blur of the cloudy shtuff,
Would look rockin on a wall, aye.

Colour balanced the photo with white/black card. Hopefully it's a better representation.
But yeah, with the dry stuff, sort of enhance the feeling of linework (because there isn't any)
and increase contrast. Also some texturing.

Thanks guys, compliments never go astray here icon_wink.gif
But if you could, if you feel up to it, would you be able to tell me why?
Is it just the content, or style or etc. etc.

Dex, been 'serious' about it for about two years, I sketch all day everyday during the week at university.
It's the only classes you can take where they encourage you to draw while the lecture is going on.

Max, thanks mang, I think the guy was wanting to wall mount it, I hope that it goes with his wall colours.
Heh, I also found out today that he has 20% kidney function and is off all this week at work, : /

Alright, last one for awhile, I promise.
I'm just really proud of this at the moment,
not much of my simple vector stuff comes out well.
