I hate to brake it to you but the M rating will bring MORE kids, simply because they will be drawn to it because it will make them "Cool" and they will have no problume finding a store to sell it to them.

They didn't for Gears of War.

Shit, every game I got into a game of Gears, "SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU FUCKING NOOB I WILL OWN YOUR ASS!" -Some prepubesant kid.

I remember one kids mom walked in on him cursing up a storm, LOL. He started crying and left the game. I can only immagine his mom kicked his xbox acrossed the room.

Same thing for Halo sometimes, but Halo isin't as much of a gore fest as GoW.

Yes how dare they go for a Teen rating so they can ship it to other contrys! Thos bastards!

stupid ass kids icon_rolleyes.gif Mythic went for a Teen rating to keep GW happy, GW didn't want to exclude any of there player base from the table top (Its 12 on up there sparky) so a teen rating is what they want. AoC on the other hand is going for an M rating because they know anything with M on the box will sell faster because the kids today (you) don't care about actual game play, you just want flashing lights and blood splatter.

there will be no nudity in it, the M rating is to draw in people, it has bin used for decades starting with Diablo1, just enough blood and gour to get them the M because they know kids will jump on it. Same thing with the "Parental Advisory" label on music.

Well, you can allways get a European client. And play on European servers.
The question beeing if you think the ping will be worth it.
