He was on a board with Bill Ayers, as were many Republicans. Ayers is a professor now. He hasn't been radical since the 60s. The bullshit part is the "pallin' around with terrorists' thing.
For the Rev Wright thing, McCain actively sought and got the endorsement of a reverend who said Hitler was doing God's work. I don't think a guy who's a bit upset with some things his government is doing is worse than that.
wow...
where to begin...
none of the "republicans" who were on that board are now currently running for president of the united states. not that you could even name any of the republicans on that board...because they aren't in high government offices today, nor are they running for them.
the fact that ayers is "a professor now" is more a commentary on the horrible state of our education system, not some merit you should judge him by. i do believe that the uni-bomber was a professor wasn't he? so thats fail...
he is still very radical, in fact in 2001 ayers was quoted as saying "i wish we would have done more" when asked about the bombings and murders he incited and carried out against his own country. he's extremely radical, he's very anti-American, anti-capitalism, and pro anarchy. he's also extremely liberal and some of his concepts for the public school systems boarder on the insane.
nobody takes the guy seriously...
except chairman maobama, and foreign apologists who enjoy a good domestic terrorist so long as it's in America (see cowards).
maobama has now changed his story 7 times about ayers. his current stance is he believed ayers had been "rehabilitated" even though he was serving on the annenburg board with him before, during, and after ayers was made infamous again for saying "i wish we had bombed more".
maobama served on that board with ayers for years, he spent many nights engineering his political career at ayers home, even so much as launching his political career from his home.
ayers completes the circle of maobama, radical anti-Americanism, and acorn.
maobama was "pallin around with terrorists". ayers is just like mcvey, he's a domestic terrorist. maobama not only served on the board with him, but he sat down with him, in his home, seeking his advice on his political carrer.
i'd say thats a valid concern.
if mccain had served on a board with mcvey for ten years, then sat in mcvey's home night after night bouncing ideas back and forth with a domestic terrorist about his views on politics and America...
are you seriously telling me this wouldn't be all over the news, on every single network, on every front page of every newspaper???
republicans have been talking about this for over a year, it's only just now coming out because mccain grew the balls to run an ad and the media couldn't sweep it under the rug anymore.
to think otherwise is either dishonest, or ignorant.
also as to your "a bit upset with his country" comment...thats just classless.
people died because of ayers, he killed people in the name of the very ideals maobama holds so dear, the communist manifesto.
redistribution of wealth
social entitlement programs
overthrow of capitalism and free market
punishment of successful business
these are things maobama preaches, these are things ayers killed people for, these are no doubt things the two of them discussed frequently while plotting his illegal overthrow of the opposing candidates on the ticket in chicago to springboard his political career.
your little comment makes me sick, you should be ashamed for downplaying the death of those people at the hands of a radical domestic terrorist who's an adviser for a man running for president.
your flippant attitude twords America and our constitution pisses me off quite frankly. i wish you'd either grow up or tone it down a tad.
