QUOTE (StrykerGamer @ Sep 27 2008, 10:42 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
You sound angry. Were you raised by republicans?

I'm not saying that republicans are angry, it's just that you seem to be offended by Obama for no apparent reason. Calm down.

no apparent reason???

are you serious?

well if you knew what i knew about the man who has a 50/50 chance of being in charge of the country for the next 4 years, you'd be a little worked up as well.

i don't give a crap about all this "muslim" shit, or any of the other petty little insignificant rumors flying around about him...i'm much more concerned with the facts.

-Davis. chairman maobama's mentor, frank marshall davis (the "frank" from his bullshit books somebody wrote for chairman maobama), is a card carrying communist ( <a href="http://www.aim.org/aim-column/obamas-communist-mentor/" target="_blank">http://www.aim.org/aim-column/obamas-communist-mentor/</a> , <a href="http://www.worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=...mp;pageId=56859" target="_blank">http://www.worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=...mp;pageId=56859</a> )

-william ayers. maobama launched his campaign from the home of, and has received money from, a good buddy of his by the name of, william ayers. who's ayers? ayers is the former member of the weather underground who encouraged children to kill thier parents for the "revolution" and also bombed the pentagon. he's a domestic terrorist and he's chairman maobama's buddy. ( <a href="http://www.nysun.com/national/obamas-ties-...scrutiny/71421/" target="_blank">http://www.nysun.com/national/obamas-ties-...scrutiny/71421/</a> , <a href="http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1978072/posts" target="_blank">http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1978072/posts</a> , <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Ayers" target="_blank">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Ayers</a> )

-Tony Resko...rezko is a slum lord in chicago where chairman maobama spent all that time as a street agitator. rezko funded his campaigns through illegal scams (probably going to jail after his trial in feb), he's also donated a shit load of money to this recent campaign of chairman maobama's and he also scammed him up a house for next to nothing through the now infamous fannie and freddie. ( <a href="http://www.american-election.com/2008/01/2...ts-the-truth-4/" target="_blank">http://www.american-election.com/2008/01/2...ts-the-truth-4/</a> , <a href="http://www.suntimes.com/news/politics/1241...obama05.article" target="_blank">http://www.suntimes.com/news/politics/1241...obama05.article</a> , <a href="http://foro.univision.com/univision/board/...message.id=2868" target="_blank">http://foro.univision.com/univision/board/...message.id=2868</a> )

-rev. wright, chairman maobama's racist preacher. maobama spent 20+ years listening to this mans black separatist hate speech. wright is the man who delivered such instant classics as: "the white man invented crack to kill the black man", "the white man invented aids (same racist reasons as the crack)", "god damn America" , "Jesus was a poor black man who lived in a country and who lived in a culture, that was controlled by rich white people! The Romans were rich. The Romans were Italians, which means they were European, which means they were white -- and the Romans ran everything in Jesus' country", and last but not least, my personal fav... when he basically said that we deserved what happened to us on 9/11...real gem of a guy. this is the guy who married maobama and his wife, and who helped him get elected to all the offices he's slithered his way into. ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=hwQWuQVE6sw , <a href="http://anti-strib.blogspot.com/2008/04/mor...ght-racism.html" target="_blank">http://anti-strib.blogspot.com/2008/04/mor...ght-racism.html</a> )

-ACORN/saul alinsky. an illegal organization who's main mission is to fraudulently fix elections in favor of democratic candidates by all sorts of illegal means. HUGE donor to maobama. they've been found guilty of more counts of voter fraud and election rigging than you can imagine. huge bunch of criminals working illegally for the democrat party and the communist/socialist/marxist movement in this country. ( <a href="http://dailymusings.spaces.live.com/blog/c...!5456.entry" target="_blank">http://dailymusings.spaces.live.com/blog/c...!5456.entry</a> , <a href="http://citizenwells.wordpress.com/2008/08/...rn-voter-fraud/" target="_blank">http://citizenwells.wordpress.com/2008/08/...rn-voter-fraud/</a> , <a href="http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2057876/posts" target="_blank">http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2057876/posts</a> )

hows those for "no apparent reason's"

is my disgust for this piece of shit maobama justifiable now?

am i entitled to my opinion yet? cause if not i could keep going.

maobama is a socialist, his supporters and his platform are nothing but the manifestation of the communist manifesto....

-distribution of wealth
-increased capital gains taxes
-punishing success
-rewarding failure and government dependency
-massive expansion of government twords social programs at the cost of the working man/woman/middle class

the man might as well put up Che Guevara posters/flags up in his campaign offices...

oh wait, thats right, he already does have posters of Che Guevara in his campaign offices...how could i forget?

also this

kinda bugs me a little

hence the new avatar:

again, if this isn't enough for me to justify my dislike and distrust for maobama then just let me know i can keep going for days. maobama is a socialist piece of shit and i can't believe people are stupid enough to vote for him. it's like people are so fucking ignorant they don't even care the guy is a marxist running for president of the pinnacle of capitalism.

also, don't make me list his connections with the latest mess with fannie and freddy. the guy wound up raking in the 2nd highest amount of money through fannie in just 3 short years of skimming. he stole more taxpayers money in just 3 years than all the rest of the politicians (but one), including some who've been stealing from us for 30+ years.

fannie and freddy failing are a perfect example of why socialism and government interference in business is a failed concept...yet maobama thinks we need more government involvement, and more socialism.

i hate maobama, i seriously hopes he looses by a landslide, but unfortunatly so many dumbasses will vote for him it might be a close election.

i can understand the rest of the world wanting obama as president, since they're thinking that mccain, being a republican like bush, is going to be arrogant. and that mccain, like bush, will prove formidable in a toe-to-toe battle of who's more arrogant, your world leader or mine. never mind that mccain is one of the least ideological republicans in congress. and never mind that bush is the person whom the world is crying about, not the republican party or mccain. so i can understand the world liking obama for that reason.

but if you're an american and you like obama...

So you think that Obama is going to turn us into a communist country? Don't you think that's a little paranoid? Seriously, just by listening to what he says in his speeches should make you know what his goals are.

I'm not saying that he's better than McCain, I'm just saying that if you think he's that much worse, then you're just looking for all the bad, and not listening to the good.

edit: And the bailouts were decided on by Democrats and Republicans. It wasn't just one party. By the way, the reason why the government had to bail out Fannie Mae and Freddy-Mac was because there wasn't enough government regulation in the banks. Have you even been paying attention?

And please stop watching FOX. It's intensely right-wing and horrible if you want a real idea as to what is actually happening.
Everybody knows that.

McCain would've been a fantastic candidate back in 2000. He had to give up pretty much all of his good qualities to get the Republican nomination though.
It pains me that the Republican party has strayed so far from what it once was.
Personally, I don't like how both McCain and Obama seem fully in favor of continuing interventionist foreign policy, with Iraq being the only real difference between the two of them. Both seem eager to attack Iran.
All of the good candidates were ridiculed out of the race long ago. Obama won't be as bad as McCain, but neither is going to be great.

The problem is that there's no left wing in mainstream American politics, at least not at the presidential level. Most democrats are almost as far right, if not as far, as our Conservative party. You need left wing parties and right wing parties (and ideally some moderate ones as well) to keep each other in check.
Our Liberal party, who are just left of center, would be seen as radical leftists in the States. I don't even want to think of what they'd think of the NDP.

i think you just bought into obama's propaganda there

why don't you read about the community reinvestment act... passed by carter, strengthened by clinton, and then later kept alive by democrats in congress *cough obama*

you don't have to watch tv news to know about obama's ties to freddie and fannie. just google it. by denying to regulate freddie/fannie, the dems kept the bubble going, that is, until a few weeks ago, until the very last second, when the whole world was already coming down on us.

lulwut?

so i should completely ignore all his socialist, communist, marxist, radical left leaning ties and just concentrate on what he wants me to hear?

are you fucking serious?

thats like saying the guy beating you all about the face and neck with a baseball bat likes you because he's saying "i like you, i like you a lot" as he bludgeons you to death.

you can't possibly be this naive.

rather than listen to the bullshit politicians spew you should try actually looking into thier record and who they collude with. just because someone can read a teleprompter doesn't mean the shit he's reading off of it is the truth.

i'm looking at the obvious, which the media and the maobama campaign is trying desperatly to hide.

a person like myself, armed with the facts about maobama, gets labeled a redneck or a racist by these idiots.

it's funny how just because i don't like a guy who hangs with racists, terrorists, criminals, communists, and socialists i'm somehow narrow minded because the guy happens to be part black. i don't give a fuck what color he is he's still a massive pile of shit and i don't see how anyone armed with the facts could possibly consider voting for him.

you have no fucking clue what you are talking about. the problem is there should be no regulation, as in the governments role in business should be to get the fuck out of the way and create an environment that encourages growth. thats what this country was founded on, see: the constitution.

the "fix" was "bi-partisan...yes, but the problem is 99.9 percent democrat bro.

as confrico just told you (great post btw) carter started this whole shit cyclone years ago with the "community reinvestment act". the result has been ever increasing pressure by democrats in the house and the senate to provide "affordable housing".

in this case, "affordable housing" was lingo for risky loans to people with shit credit. thier reasoning was that it was racist to deny a minority a loan for a home even if their credit was shit. so the banks started to buy up these fannie and freddie loans, taking the secured risk all on the backs of the taxpayer.

when the housing market and the economy "adjusted" people started to loose their jobs and their homes.

bottom line is if someone's credit is shit, banks shouldn't be forced to loan them money by the federal government...

let me explain it to you in a way i hope you can understand.

lets say you have a bunch of extra money and someone you know asks you to borrow, lets say, a hundred bucks.

before you say yes or no you would naturaly weigh this risk against several factors...

-does this person have a job?
-has he borrowed money in the past, and if so, has he re-payed his debts?
-does he have many outstanding debts?
-does he have anything to put up for colateral...like a personal possession of his you can hold on to for insurance

...

so lets say you look over all the criteria and you decide that this guy has no job, never pays back any of his loans, owes a shit ton of people money, and doesn't have anything to offer you up for colateral...

you tell him to go get fucked right?

well here is where the federal government steps in and calls you a racist, and forces you to loan him the money.

how the fuck is that fair?

now once word gets out that you are being forced to loan money, every hood rat in the country is hitting you up for money, and despite your better judgement, you are forced to loan all of them all your money.

this is what the dems in congress have been doing for 30 some years...forcing banks to make risky loans, backed by freddie and fannie...but when all the banks started getting stiffed there wasn't enough money to pay them back...

because there was far too many loans being given.

if you are in the loan busines you are in it to make money.

you put up your cash, they re-pay you over time much more than you fronted them.

the idea being that you will no doubt get stiffed every now and then, but the proffit you made off the good loans will cover your losses and still keep you in business.

the fed forced banks to make tons of risky loans.

you and i shouldn't have to pay for a failed socialist program.

i don't watch "fox news" i pay attention to facts...

notice you couldn't come up with a single rebuttal to any of the facts i listed in my post, you just start parrotting some bullshit about fox news...

something you should know...

fox leans to the right, but every single other source of "news" out there (abc, cbs, nbc, msnbc, cnn, the times, the post, the blogs...) ARE ALL LIBERAL AS FUCK.

don't take my word for it, just pay attention, allthe other channels ever say is MAOBAMA GOOD MCCAIN BAD.

the media in this country is trying to get maobama elected, at least fox is up front about pulling for mccain, the rest of the media hacks act like they are objective when they most certianly are not.

WTF?

what the hell are you talking about, the left in this country is about as left as they can get. any further to the left and we are all standing in line for bread and driving the peoples car to the job the government decided we would be best suited for.

if you think people like chuck shumer, nancy pilocy, chairman maobama, and ted kennedy are centrists then you must live in one seriously fucked up country.

The problem, like I've said before. Isn't so much that Obama or Mccain are bad, it's that their parties in the congress are bad. On the whole, the democratic party will spend more money with a democratic president than the republican party will spend with a republican president.

That's why obama is dangerous. People need to understand that. I honestly think I am more qualified to make laws than Nancy.

i love that quote.

just thought about something chilling.

the next president of the united states, unless he dies in office, will appoint at least 2 judges to the supreme court, possibly as many as 4.

thats fucking scary TBH.

Maobama has already said that he wants to ban guns. one of his little pet projects is a "charitable foundation" (see lobby) that doles out money (probably from freddy and fanny) to organizations who promote gun bans, not just restrictions, but bans.

http://www.gunowners.org/pres08/obama.htm

thats just the tip of the iceberg...i can't imagine the damage that radical socialist would do being able to handpick 4 ultra lib judges into the highest court in the land.

my god, thats fucked up if you think about the possibilities.

I always thought the opposite. Democrats are on the far left and these new age Republicans are moving further from the right to the left, especially when it comes to economics. Calling the Republican party "conservative" is kind of a joke these days.

As far as the Supreme Court nominations go, considering 7 out of the 9 justices were nominated by Republicans (four of which by Bush Jr. and Sr), I doubt Obama nominating two justices (I really doubt four would go out in four years) would swing the court enough to produce something on the scale of a national gun ban. And the senate does an okay job of not approving people who really aren't fit for the job, such as Miers a few years ago.

the only change maobama wants to make is socialism. we've seen nothing but one failed government social program after another in this country. every time one of these douchebag politicians get things like this passed into law it backfires and winds up hurting the economy, and hurting the working class via higher taxes and more hassle to accieve the "american dream". it makes it harder to start and run a business, it makes it harder to earn a living, it makes it harder to provide for our selvs and for our families...

yet people are always willing to sacrafice that for the promise of getting something for nothing.

"oh please mommy government take care of me, i'm far to stupid to make my own decisions, protect myself, and spend my own money, please take it all from me and run my life"

seriously...why do people subject themselvs to this shit?

200 years ago and some change when our forefathers put pen (quill) to paper and signed the foundation of this great nation they did so with the idea that a man shouldn't be oppressed by taxes.

and now we are living in a country where each and every political cycle we argue about how much more opression we should endure. a whole bunch more, or just a little bit.

it's disgusting.

social programs in this country are a massive faliure, why do we want to add more to the list?

I fucking hate this. It isn't a debate so much as "I like this guy because his brand of lies fit my pallot JUUUSSSSTT right!"

all this is accomplishing is showing how narrow minded everyone is. I can't believe the people I am seeing and the post they are producing. I enjoyed this thread up until a few pages ago, now its a flame fest.

Seriously, what the fuck.

He may have lost his position, but damn the write in vote really needs to not be a joke right now

It's coming down to who is the US going to be fucked by, I mean after this and both candidates taking the same stance on the bailout, I don't see how there's going to be a difference in the outcome of this election as more likely than not everything is going to be the same.

Everything is going to shit and there is no one that can be elected to stop it.
