Well im sure out of all of you bf2 gamers, there are some that have "Error patching" the game?
Im totally new to bf2, and ive been searching all google for a solution to this. I reinstalled twice, tried to install the patch, and still got that "error patching".
Im not sure if this is the right section?
Any solutions?

wow this is terrible,it finnaly didnt say *PATCH FAILED*, but now it just doesnt finish the instalation, it stops at 88% and says your instalation is complete. I was like lol?.
Bah I give no more chances to Bf2, bf 1942 patches had so many problems too
, now it passes on to this ¬¬. Jeremy is right about EA.

I'm pretty sure they want you to buy the expansion packs. I've had the same problems and asked everywhere but everyone says "Oh no just install the patch" but it's not working. I don't feel like looking for the page but on the battlefield website they have a step by step process that goes like:
Install BF2
Install patch 1.??
Install this shitty expansion pack
Install patch 1.??
Uninstall shitty expansion pack
...
You get my point.

Check your drivers. That's the only thing I can think of that hasn't been said. An update to your GPU driver may be all you need.
