Ah, if only you'd stayed another 2 weeks in Melbourne, Jarett. Could've attended our E-Games exhibition. Although I'm quite jealous, none of our girls had Assasins Creed tattoos, and we most DEFINITELY did not have alcohol, lights and live music... We did however have a sexpo next door so go figure o.o I guess it was all over there.

On a side note, at the E-Games fest I toly pwned Crysis, Halo 3, COD2 and MarioKart =P

I'm not pr0 or anything or photography, but I do have to say that I was impressed by the pictures that were taken.

I don't understand why people just can't take good pictures at an event like this. I'm glad you started off smart, and didn't turn the flash on. There's nothing else worse then turning the flash on at an event like this. Unless it's extremely needed, it should never be turned in. I don't know if you played with the exposure settings or not, but it looks like you did. If you didn't, then, I guess that's even better. It makes sense to see some blur in an action shot like the ones found here, mostly relating to arm movement. I was happy to not see any full body blurry motion pictures.

So, seems like you know what you're doing. =)

It's the Canon EOS 5D.

The place was covered with non-stop moving multi-colored lights (which you can see in Teh End). That plus the overall club-like darkness of the event (and not having a flash) made it easily the most difficult conditions I've shot in yet. Fifteen minutes in I was thinking of giving up - I could snap 10 pics in 3 seconds of the same subject with the same settings and each one would have drastically different results! Btw if anyone is pr0 @ photoshop or photography, I'd love to hear some constructive feedback (PM me!).

Glad you guys dig the pics, it's a blast for me to take them!

An advice to anyone who wants to go to Arcadia next year: go on friday! There isn't as much people then during the rest of the weekend and you get to play everything with almost no waiting line, and way more goodies XD (I know I'm going to regret that I've told you this =.= 'cause now I'm sure there is going to be a lot more people on friday next year ;P)
