Of course it's not fake, I'm on it right now. It extracted to my desktop and I just followed the install instructions.

So your playing the game? cause it sure didnt work for me.

It did the self extractor thing, Then proptemed the Install Shield, and then It installed and then all I had was folders.

where am I going wrong?

The demo isn't a fake, you just have to search through the game files for the Crysis.exe since it doesn't install a shortcut.
