Hey all, i've seen in this forum lots of topics and opinions on this game.

So, to clear it all up i decided to make one whole thread where people can voice any opinions they have about the game or any interesting/fun/cool video's, screenshots and websites.

I suppose ill start off with the obvious one:

Warhammer: Age of Reckoning

The official website where you can sign for beta and the newsletter (which i recommend by the way)

After watching the latest podcast im even more interested in this game and its unique idea's and classes.

Anyway I'd love to hear what everyone thinks about the game.

Are you going to get it? Still thinking? Or no way.
The class/race which your planning on rolling and why.

Have it pre-ordered. Had it pre-ordered for about a month now.

No idea yet. My and a group of guild m8s (Giant guild that covers multiple games) are still setting it all up. We go above and beyond with our own language and what not, very specific rules, so I am just waiting on the final votes XD

What about you? Have it plotted or still on the fence?

Yes i also cant wait for this game, although, i didn't pre-order just in case its a flop and financial reasons. But this is the game for me I'm super physced for it.

There is more then likely a few people here from the Beta, but there not allowed to talk about the game or give any screen shots/Videos out about it because of the NDA.

If you sign up for the news letter you will get all the info about the game as it is created.

Unfortunatly i have'nt got into beta but hey.

My main interest is Chaos Marauder but still i could change my mind any time.

Definatly orc or chaos.

But ill tell you one thing, with how all the charisma works surely would'nt that mean the guys with shit loads of armour etc e.g. Black Orc, Chaos Chosen be the strongest...

Because they will be fighting longest so surely more morale to do the devastating attacks :\

But hey i cant really say anythign till i've played.

I'm sorry but I have to laugh at you considering the only combat videos out there are Alpha and Pre-Beta that show GMs giving you a glimpse at the different skills they have, you haven't even seen real combat videos and you are already talking not only like you have played the game but your also comparing it to WoW witch only shows your lack of knowledge or the game.

i'm glad you stopped me well before i compared how WC3 has less units than SC, or that Battlefield 2 has around the same map sizes as Quake Wars...my god that would of been awful

The problem is instead of looking at a game for what it is all every one dos is compare it to other games that are out there. All you ever see now is "Game X is not as good as WoW, but game Z has better pixels!"

How can you expect video games to get better when all you people do is compare everything to WoW and base every idea you have about a game on Pre-Beta videos.

i didn't compare it to WoW, all i said was "combat looks just as bland and boring as WoW...perhaps worse"

it's probably just as boring as bland as every other fantasy MMORPG out there and until they innovate combat, it's always gonna be the same, only with slight differences

Great. So I'm going to have to forge an opinion based on alpha and early beta footage? Well, guess I have to dig up some vids of the WoW beta/alpa. From there, draw assumptions about where this game is going to go.
