There is more then likely a few people here from the Beta, but there not allowed to talk about the game or give any screen shots/Videos out about it because of the NDA.

The Warhammer NDA doesn't mean much. If you get caught breaking it, all you lose is your Beta account. Big friggen deal if you're letting others know how it is. And even then they'll have to find out who you are in game to ban your account and let someone else in.

If you leak info that you are not permitted to share you can be fined and legal action could be used.

Also, it is not hard because they have a very close tab over there players, thats why they are so carful when selecting Beta testers. If you have no prior closed Beta testing experience, there is a 98% chance you will not get selected.

Anyway just to keep this updated, the latest edition of the newsletter is out and its about a High Elf class which seems well different One class i wont be (down to opinion of course)

this games beta was canceled, but i still hold out hope. they are redoing to make it more pvp

the second phase of the beta is gonna be up in december again for whoever is not a developer.

first phase was shit imho. its full of bugs. pvp was quite ridiculous and pve was boring and repetitive. classes r all the fuckin same.

but the worst is, its WoW.
with few differences, but its WoW.

i'll probably buy it anyway because other games r gonna be shit until gw2.
i suggest tf2 until war is out.

And just because your to stupid to know the difference between the classes dos not make them the same.

And I hate to brake it to ya kiddo, but WoW Riped off DAoC, and DAoC belongs to MYTHIC, and MTHIC is making WAR, so tecnicaly, your saying WAR = DAoC, NO SHIT! leave your 10-10 room and get some son kiddo, stop making mommy pay for your WoW accounts and experience life a little.

WAR is not like WoW in any way. Other then there bouth MMOs made with the same base line (WarHammer from Game Work shop) and for the last fucking time! if you plan on comparing WAR to WoW, save up all some time, and just don't, because you have obveasly never played any other MMO in your life so you have no line of comparasin.

Also a news flash, blizzard ripped of games workshop with their orcs and what not. The warhamer table top game has been around for 25 years almost, warcaft hasn't.

Also sounds like you haven't done many betas. Thats why you are there, to find bugs and help the game out, not just to play for free. Did you really expect to jump into a beta that early in the development and expect it to be 100% polished?

All looking good i must say, they've added 2 major changes after some response in early Beta and will be opening them in the restoring of Beta...

Basically even more uniqueness to your character, and...something else i cant remember! just watch the podcast its all good.

Yeah im there day one. I dont know what side im going to play yet though, If im on the "good" side im probably going to go with a dwarven engineer but if im on the other side its probably a choppa. It kinda depends on my brother though, playing the side he plays on.

Ive been waiting for this game for a very long time now, even tried DAoC for a while to get into the feeling. Its a good game, its much more complex then lets say "My First MMO" aka WoW.

I also subscribed from day 1 also beta applicant since day 1. I REALLY wanna play this game badly. I've played WoW for about 10 months total... i really had fun untill i hit level 70. Got bored as fuck. :| Thats why i wanna play this game.... WHOLE new world, better graphics, New content, new story. And the most important thing. Everyone starts off as an noob (Notthe Beta testers though :< ). That means that the quests/world itself will be new to every player. So everyone will go questing together hardcore for the first 3 months and not like WoW to have almost no one at some place and if you want to quest with them they alreaddy got an level 70 helping them so no more fun questing with each other. Also i wasnt in the beta but i DID play it at the Gameplay in Holland. Thats like an small E3 of the Benelux. I did like it but man it was bugged as fuck and the gameplay wasnt that good. Ofcourse it was an beta so i won't mind that. It will probably be awesome! And yeah i like it thats its WoWish. WoW gameplay/battle system is real good.

I hate to brake it to you kiddo, but Blizzard (The people that created WoW) stole the Value titles from Mythic who created DAoC a good number of years before Blizzard was even heard of.

Thanks for telling me something i already know. I don't care that much what happened between them. The Warcraft universe has the best fantasy ever (for me). The Warhammer on the other hand has the best War-fantasy.

I'm just pointing out that the value colors are EXACTLY the same as from WoW. I don't think the color has something to do with DAoC.

I don't think you have any idea what your talking about. The SAME EXACT Color idea for items has bin used in a lot of game, before and after WoW, THAT is what I was getting at, how you got WarHammer from DAoC is beyond me.

And for the record, because I don't think you know shit. WarCraft/StarCraft where supposed to be WarHammer and WarHammer40K game, Blizzard fucked up to much so Game Work shop pulled the license, then Blizzard just rewrote a few names and changed a few things so they could get off with stealing the ideas and calling it there own.

I think this game is gonna be decent, whatever, hoping to get in the beta still, or at least be notified of anything regarding my status as of now on that front...

honestly though, I am really holding out hope for the 40k mmo to actually be made and be done in an innovative manner and well.

I have to say one thing to all you naysayers out there; If you never played DAoC competitively in an 8v8 guild/group, then you can't say anything about this game until it comes out. Mythic makes extremely amazing PvP systems. DAoC, for example, has probably the best PvP(RvR) system that was ever made for an MMO.

I am really hoping the WoW bandwagon hasn't affected Mythic's dev team too much. The videos are kind of discouraging by the way the graphics look, but I have heard that phase 2 of the beta has changed a lot of the combat system and the PvP is really fun to participate in. I am just hoping they add something like an RA ability system like DAoC had, other wise I'll just look for another game. I can't stand PvP systems that allow the player to gain nothing by simply PvP'ing over and over. I don't count "gear" as achievement either.

Honestly though, if you guys have never played DAoC and Warhammer has a PvP system equal to or greater than that of DAoC's, you're in for a real treat.

EDIT: Btw, for all you people saying Warhammer copied WoW, it's the other way around. The Warhammer series(not just computer games) was around long, long, LOOOOOOOOOONG before Blizzard devs thought about making a company. If you google for past arguments about this, you will see Warhammer sketch pictures from the mid-1990s that look EXACTLY like WoW character races.
