Not quite Women usually only release one egg per month We don't keep producing eggs like sperm is produced, we're born with a set number and that's it.
My opinion on the morning after pill is the same as my opinion on abortion. I support it, but it's not for me and I wouldn't use it. Why wouldn't I use it? I figure if it's meant to happen, then it's how it is. Given, I am on the normal contraceptive pill and I'm not the one night stand kind of person, so the chances of me actually having to go and get the morning after pill is really slim.
I do agree with it being available over the counter here in Australia. I think that if women had to go to the doctor for a prescription then there would be less people inclined to go and take it, and therefore would be more unwanted pregnancies. I do however think that some people shouldn't rely on it too much. I do have a family friend who enjoyed her one night stands, didn't use protection, kept taking the morning after pill, got warned by her pharmacist that one day it wouldn't work because her body was becoming used to it and now she's the mother to a baby girl to a guy she had a one night stand with.
So yeah summing up, my opinion: Good, but not for me and should be used as back up, not as a contraceptive
