It'd be good to have a pro supervise you while you do it.

Im not sure where he found it but it's on xoxide.com link-http://xoxide.com/aerocoolcase.html
Also it might not be a bad idea to invest in a static bracelet if this is your first time and even if it wasent. When i built my pc, First my power supply fucked it self, So i had to get a new one. Then once i got it to post, my motherboard demagnatized so i had to send that back to newegg and order a replacement so once i had my motherboard and i pluged everything in and my vid card had somthing wrong with it and i coudlnet get the video card drivers to install without the computer going insane and blacking out and then giving me a screen with a bunch of white lines and some other wierd shit. So what should have taken a day to build and get working took 1 month and a week or two. So for the sake of saving yourself the trouble buy a 5-10$ static bracelet from Radio Shack. Nice choice on the case by the way. What other hardware do you plan on geting? AMD, Intel? Nvida, ATI?

It'd post with a 400. A 500 is big enough, even if you're planning on SLI, though. I used to run 4 optical drives (CDROMs), 8 hard drives, and a GF4 Ti on a 300w. 600w is overkill without dual core/SMP/massive RAID.

For the static bracelet, Its really not necessary, just ground yourself on your case and dont drag your rubber shoe soles all over carpet while working and youll be fine.

yes the case comes in black http://xoxide.com/aerocool-aeroengine-2-black.html And though the static bracelet is not necissary it's not like it costs an arm and a leg to get it, though it would be up to him

This is exactly what has been going on through the entire thread, and it's not the first time either.
You come to us for advice..you just spell out what you want to get, and then ask us if it is okay, and we have to explain why it isn't. That's the world upside down.. If you would just say 'hey guys, I have an X amount of money, what should I buy?' Then this would be over in 2-3 posts, not 2-3 pages.

Every time someone goes against Weiman's sig I feel like they should be bludgeoned for a few minutes in the head to feel the headache I feel when I realize someone really IS that dense.

Strongly recommend against the P4. DDR2 is nice, but SLI solutions are subpar (nForce4 isn't particularly stable on socket 775) and the price/performance ratio just isn't there...

I hope you meant a 600 WATT power supply and not 600 DOLLAR.

The PC's not grounded unless it's plugged in (bad idea) and even then only the PSU and power rails are grounded. Static bracelet is a good investment for $5.

Though most gamers are against Intel completely, I am totally for them. And yes 600 dollars is a bit overkill for a powersupply, hopefully you ment WATT. You should go with a 500 it would be more than enough, This is one that I would recomend- http://xoxide.com/x-connect-500-uvblue.html it also comes in orange and green. But that would be up to you, Though 600 watt is still over kill unless your going to run like 4cd drives 2 floppys, 2 vga's and like 6 hd's, Then maby you would need it but from what it sounds ike.. your not going to be runing that. I have a p4 prescott 540j 3.2 intel cpu and it's very nice, Good for gaming though no one on here will agree because all any of them have ever used is AMD and although they say they have used intel they really havent and if they did then it was a 2.4 or somthing crappy. Also i would suggest going ATI, I have some friends who run Nvidia and they are always having problems with their cards. Up to you though. Make sure you reasearch all the parts you are buying before you pay for them.
