Bleh, microsoft ergo really is mediocre. Logitech G15 is just fucking awesome, you really gotta own one or atleast use one a few times to kno why really.

Mostly monitoring performance or frame rates, keeping an eye on the time or what song is playing without looking at the media player and a few other things

Thats up to the game developers and third party programmers really.
Only game i actually use it for is mark of chaos (awesome game BTW) where it displays things like units remaining, total kills etc etc
Course if you wanna download the plugins you can get a lot more useful stuff for it.

Get the cheapest one you can find, then donate $30 to Christian Aid or similar. Just as long as it's an organization who help the very poorest people - peope who probably do not even know what a keyboard is.

Bah, business was a biproduct of industrialisation, and without industrialisation probably the whole world would be in third world conditiond because you cant have much in the way of mechanised labour saving deviced or mass production of things like foods or medical supplies.
