Dave, guide us in our time of need, we try to make your stew, yet everyone tells us that it's made wrong.

What do we say to those non-believers?!

PP should make a cook book on how to make the stew, smoked meat sandwich's, ect...

Smoke meat sandwhich? You must be pretty noob not to be able to cook a smoked meat sandwhich

I think the whole stew should be made with Yager, instead of water. icon_smile.gif Might taste Maligulous!

is Jäger spelled different in canada?

I'm not sure why he just threw in the carrots and whole potatoes.
I would of peeled the potatoes and chopped them up into small pieces, same with the carrots.
Probably would of browned the Beef more too.

it seems more like a ramen type dish, from the colour of the water and the way dave served it.

bet it would be great with noodles

If you guys didn't notice, he was purposely making it wrong. you'll definately want to chop the onion/mushrooms/carrots/potatoes (and skin them), as well as not putting so much water or else it will be rather bland

yeah, when i told my mom about the stew she thought dave was crazy for not cutting up the potatoes ("Whole potatoes, WHOLE potatoes?!") and same with the onion. She kept asking was he going to cook it for 2 days instead of two hours.

Me and a friend want to do this, but we want to do it right. Please Dave, help us in our quest to become pro at cooking with correct instructions.

You know what would be great, instead of doing cooking with Dave every episode. While the fans wait for episodes Dave should make some cooking with dave episodes and put them on the site. So we got some things to watch why we wait for episodes.

Dude thats a good idea cuz i get so bored in between ep.s

some rosemary and celery would be nice, and i would definitely chop the ingredients... I like being able to eat my soup with a spoon, not a knife and fork.

hehe I always laughed at that episode last season (can't remember the number) where it shows him prodding uncut veges while making his stew.

Dave has shown us the way pros cook, with full veges.

Remember guys, its cooking for over 2 hours in boiling water.

2 hours in boiling water makes the onions, carrots basically fall apart when touched. Potato skins is good for u so no worries

You don't want an OVERCOOKED onion that is the point of that. The Potatoes will become "mashed" if you have ever made mashed potatoes you boil them before you mash them. Not sure about the beef though I don't think it shreds quite so easy. Theres no harm in cutting these things (except the onion) he just did it to look manly. Big carrot big rod right dave?

this guy is totally right. only it's not cooked in hard boiling water, but simmering water which makes a big difference. give it a try before you question more, people.
