CZ is the one thing Source and 1.6ers can agree on:it is worth than both. Bad models, bad game play, bad reg, weird recoil. No one really likes it :\ You'd be better off playing 1.6 IMO.

I'm pretty tolerent with models, I'm used to bad graphics(played Runescape for 3 years lol), the gameplay is the same as 1.6 lol(and more fun maps imo) and I seem to be getting more headshots in cz icon_surprised.gif Oh well, I play 1.6 occasionally and dont see a big difference. I'll be getting cs:s in sept/oct when I'll buy a new graphic card but I heard the models are bigger = easier to do headshots = less of a challenge?

Now, our FPS section rules is no CS vs CSS and such.. but since you're still fairly new and I haven't seen you around the FPS section heavily I'll let this slide. And the player models are bigger yes, but it's still about how well you can control your gun inna gunfight. CZ I myself have played a bit, I find it a bit more relaxed than the rest of the other CS's. So if you want to just have a fun little tourney at a lan party with people who have barely played CS or CSS, CZ is a good intro. All guns have pretty low rate's of fire and thus recoil is a bit more manageable, but still like the rest of the CS's requires skill to still come out on top of the scoreboards.

CS1.6 event? sure. Give me a good date and time that's at least two weeks away to give people notice time and we'll set something up.

Last event we just had we struggled to get a 10-man going on.. didn't even have a server until last minute .RaiL's kickass clan lent it to us. icon_smile.gif

So I say two weeks is good measure to give people time to setup a schedule'd time to do it. Plus, I'd be great to get a confirmed CS1.6 server we can use.. if it comes down to it, I have a 2nd comp in my room I can use as a ded server.. nothing uber amazing though, would maybe be 66 tick.. more like 33 tick though. icon_sad.gif
