hi all me gf's dad has a few pics of his mom and dad on there wedding day but they have passed away a while back. he does not have any couler pictures of his parents and i was talking 2 a friend who said its possable 2 change them 2 couler, so does any1 know what is a good program to do this, has any1 done it before. any help would be gr8.

Do you know what Photoshop is?
You can download the trial for free but you have to pay like $700 for the full version.

I know you can make a colour picture into grayscale via PS, but didn't know you could make a gray image colour in it... *new info*

There is no program that will automatically transform black and white images into color images, however these programs make it easier to do manually, and I doubt that you want to do this. Sorry buddy. =\

Not to crush your dreams or anything but, if you don't know what Photoshop is.. the chances of you doing a good job on colouring those photos is very slim. There are professionals that colourize monochromatic photos if you want to look into that.. I'm seeing that as your best bet. But, keep in mind that it's not magic.. technology can't scan the image and find out what their skin tones looked like, the artist will have to use their imagination which won't be all that accurate... not that it's impossible for it to look good but, remember that it's not going to be real.. it'll be fake.
