My clan sucks. Badly.

We're only a small clan (4 man) and we play 2v2s or 3v3s.

Can someone take the time to read through our tactics and tell me where we're going wrong?

Oh, and we play on d2

2v2
CT:
1. Stick together at mid. One looking near bombsite b, and one up at a.
2. One goes to long a, one goes to tunnel
T:
1. Rush long A
2. Push short a
3. Rush down mid, then up to a or b depending on where the cts are.
4. Rush into tunnel, one goes to b, one goes lower tunnel and round back up to b.

3v3
CT:
1. One A, One Mid, One B. First person to sight the bomber tells the others on vent, where we all rush to the bombsite, kill the bomber and camp the bomb.
T:
1. One watches, the other two wait at spawn. The one watching tells how many cts have gone past to b, and then we rush the bombsite with the least cts, using any of the tactics listed in the 2v2 section; decided by preference and weapon usage.

I know for a fact it's our tactics we're slipping up on. Aim wise, we're unbelievable good, and if all cts ran up mid, we'd easy take them all down. it's just that rarely ever happens, so we need some tactics that will keep us alive during clan matches.

Those aren't really tactics at all. It's something you would use in a pub. Usually there are different strats depending on money, spawn, previous rounds, etc. I'd recommend getting a few more people, and then working on some 5v5 strats. There's not much tactics wise that's going to save you in 2v2 or 3v3s as you're mostly stopping rushes 1v2 or 1v3. It's pretty much up to smart individual play. Not necessarily aim...just playing smart. Comes with time. You could look up some playbooks at GotFrag? also.

2v2s and 3v3s aren't really tactic-heavy. Whenever we play 3v3s, we just run wherever the CTs aren't (on T) or the Ts are (on CT) and kill them rofl. If your aim is "unbelievably good" you should have no problem killing them.


Couple quick strats off the top of my head:


3v3s:
On T, send one to fake Long A and use all his nades and the other 2 wait outside B until he's done so. Then the distraction T should push up where he was faking to attract the attention of the CTs. Then the other 2 Ts rush B tunnels, plant, and hold (if they're not bad, that should be no problem).

Just do a lot of fakes and rushes on T.

On CT, just do a 1-1-1 and rotate accordingly.




2v2s:
Just rush everything.

Me and mason are the uber 2v2ers. I did like one with him on NUKE who the fuck does 2v2 nuke... Kids thought they would be smart and we raped the shit out of them. They called us hackers and didnt even finish the half.

And if you're talking about your gun's recoil... then I've been playing the game for over a year, and I know what it is.

Hey, why not help him rather than be a jerk?

Now, I suggest (like the rest of the people here who actually have a brain). Grabbing a 5th member. Your strategies now seem good, but there are flaws... Considering its 2v2 or 3v3, its hard to keep good teamwork when you guys are far apart. 5v5 is where it's at...

I'm no pro, but some of these guys are. so.. ya.. listen to them more than me.
