Eh...yeah...I read it and it's sad...very sad that there's anyone that stupid in society to try to enforce something idiotic like this...

Yeh, it's sad to say but America is becoming the pussified nation of the world. The Benjamin Franklin quote in my sig is pretty much what is going on at an incredibly small scale in the USA.
Which is why I like reading and collecting these articles.

Hernandez said the no-touching rule is meant to ensure that all students are comfortable and crowded hallways and lunchrooms stay safe.
Im pretty damn sure that the threat of immediately being pwnt in the face for so much as poking someone wouldnt let me be comfortable anywhere near that place.

zomgz he bullied me with his eyes!
as someone who was given shit all through high school I can readily say that anyone who is able to be bullied and seriously affected by someone looking at them needs to toughen the fuck up. unless the person staring at them had like.. eye lasers or some shit.. then its understandable

Second. Worst. Signature. Ever.
Expecting something witty? Herp derp tiddlerp.

We've got some rediculous rules at our school simmilar to that, but not to quite the extreme. Anything more than a handshake is forbidden as "public display of affection"... kinda lame, that the school wanted me to "handshake my gf goodbye" in the morning.
His name is Robert Paulson.
I get banned with a little help from my friends

Last time I checked, you didn't have the right to tell me what to do?

imagine being the guy who has to write all this crap down in that school rules book, which they hand out in the start of every school year. just skimming through that book you see that it has every damn rule spelled out, it's ridiculous. i never really read them, and neither did my parents. but i wish i had kept one of those up till now just for kicks. damn

Meh, high fives are over-used anyway. Manly fist bumps are much cooler.
My school is pretty awesome like that. While technically we arn't allowed to hug, none of the teachers really give a shit. Hell a few years ago, 2 students where found having sex in the lacquering booth, in the manual arts block and all they got was like 2 weeks suspension. Any aggressive contact is frowned upon.
Give up all you suckers we the tightest muthafuckas And you never seen us talking shit before now
You peelin' potatoes while we sonic alligators
Makin' records sellin' like we smokin' crack now
'Joe' -'what now'?
'We bad.' -'Bad how'?
'We make a track to shake a cow
and move you like you startin something nasty?
'And then' -What then?
'We do it again, don?t make no money for us to spend
on yachts and boats and planes and drugs and scooters?
- Hot Chip

That school is in my county, and I have some friends that go there.
I think it's quite rediculous, and people are just getting stupid.

NO. I have honestly not seen a HIGH five in years. Not even a low five. Nowadays it's some lame slap grapple slide hand thingy. I say we need to bring back the HIGH FIVE!
As for the hugging, it was called "Personal Display of Affection" at my high school and it wasn't allowed either.

Wow, this makes me laugh in a sad way. People are over reacting, plus this won't help at all. Bullies don't care if they do something against the rules, fighting is against the rules and they do it anyways, so they're not gonna care if they break the "no touching" rule. Honestly some people are just ignorant douche bags.

you think it, it's happened before.
that reminds me of this substitute teacher one time. she said right off the bat that she'd kick anyone out of the classroom if they spoke a word. why? she had a headache and didn't want to take pills. just shut up and do math problems. so even during roll call, you had to raise you hand. if you said "here", you're out.
well, i said "here" during roll call. and she kicked me to study hall, wherever the fuck that was. luckily, sneaking out of my school was easy as pie, even with all the patrolling security guards around the school. i just snuck out through one of the back doors and went home.
bye, bitch. hope you died that afternoon.

Our school had a 6 inch rule. We were not allowed within 6 inch of a fellow student (i don't think it was gender specific). fortunately it was hardly ever enforce unless you were blatantly intimate.
