I wish my monitor was hd ready:( GL WITH THAT!

Edit: Seriously tho you're mixing HDTV's with computer monitors if I'm correct. Or you want a 24'' HDTV? I wouldn't blow more money on a 24'' HDTV than just get a huge HDTV or a 24'' Monitor...

most monitors today are HD ready (or almost). if you run 1280x1024 you have MORE than HD ready...

you do know that a HD tv has 1280x720(921 600 pixles) res and a 24" has 1900x1200(2 302 800). if you plan to game or watch (full)HD tv it's much better with a 24" monitor.

what is your video source?

how about this? it has HDMI

Yeah I was kind of going about knowing that. Id roughly assume since older TVs run arroung the 700 pixel resolution and that 1280x1024 has been out for some time I'd assume it would be hard to buy a monitor that is smaller. I just don't use the term HD ready when I'm talking about computer monitors so yeah... I was being sarcastic. He was talking about HDMI and all that other stuff so I associated it with HDTV's since I don't usually see monitors with them but don't doubt the possibility.

When buying an LCD monitor online, check their return policy!!! Some monitors come with dead pixels, wether it be only on some colors, or they come in after a few days or weeks...

I would have to agree with dell there, looks like you can get it here for a good price, is a lot more expensive on the dell website for some reason.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Dude, you dont need 2 to power a 24" wide, you'd be fine with just 1 8800GTX TBH

As to the monitor, just go with the dell, they are renown for quality big screen LCDs
