For those of you who don't know, a new world record has been set for competitive hot dog eating by an American man named Joey Chestnut. This new record of 59 hot dogs/buns in 12 minutes shattered the old record set by Japan's Takeru Kobayashi at 53 hot dogs/buns. All I can say is "It's about time". Well done Joey... your nation thanks you.

I just want to point out how priceless some of the lines in this article are:
I don't know why but those two lines made me laugh. They just do.

But one thing that helped Chestnut was his love for hot dogs. "They are my favourite," the champion explains.

I think eating a large quantity of hotdogs is an awesome feat and do not intend to bash america in general due to the actions of this particular individual.

Finally, a fat American has beaten a skinny Japanese man at a food eating contest.
I think the world is now at balance.

This is exactly what has been going on through the entire thread, and it's not the first time either.
You come to us for advice..you just spell out what you want to get, and then ask us if it is okay, and we have to explain why it isn't. That's the world upside down.. If you would just say 'hey guys, I have an X amount of money, what should I buy?' Then this would be over in 2-3 posts, not 2-3 pages.

Every time someone goes against Weiman's sig I feel like they should be bludgeoned for a few minutes in the head to feel the headache I feel when I realize someone really IS that dense.

They really need to turn this thing into a duel gambling event.
1)Who eats the most
2)Who's last to run to the bathroom without shitting themselves
