Edit: Actually we do it whenever we play together cause it just brings up so much humour lmfao. Oh my god today was HILARIOUS. Some kid kept saying "Oh so dirty" on his mic (on our team) and we laughed at him, then he awped my friend (friendly fire, he still lived though cause of the reduction) so I raped him with the AK. He forgave me and went on the other team. Then he called his friends, who all sucked. Then we raped them. Then .. we left cause it was late but ALL THROUGHOUT we would go "Oh, so dirty!" whenever we killed him haha. Fun stuff, and if you guys have any sort of immaturity left in you (Fuck my Brother has some and he's 7 years older than me) you guys should try making fun of people in a pub lol. Oh my god I think I'm going to die from laughing. LMfao.

I know what you mean dude, 2-4 hours ago, im playing one of my favourite 18 player clan server. We all no each other and usually have a great time owning each other up... untill..

2 people joined with a silly "clan tag" infront of there names .. All seemed well untill.. The high pitched Voices aflicted my maturely attuned ears. I shall quote some of the blasphemy that was spoken by these BABIES "i owned you... (repeatidly over and over again..)" "Suck my dick, no you suck mine" just a meer 2 of the phrases spoken by these rats.

Now im only 16.. But i play with people ranging from 16-40 on that server (and communicate via headset with them). And we all get along and have a laugh ofc its usually myself and the 17-19 year olds playing late night thats when we have our fun . But still we had no admins on at this time so we had to put up with teh selfish twats for a good 30mins..

I have to say if it wasnt for several freinds i know on the server i would of left due to the racket and anoyence they were causing.

Now being honest, most younger players ( younger refering to the 15 and below aged gamers) will more than likily play the FPS genre games.. wer i can pwn them. However im not a big RTS fan but i sitll like to give them ago once every so often..

Im playing War3 a few days ago .. and i recive this in my chat "u myaswll quite dud, i cain nubs" (spelling mistakes purposley), now in my eyes i translated that to "im a 13 year old... i have no pubic hair".. i end this at a CASE CLOSED 13 year olds Suck dick.

And maturer gamers should be free to reap the pleasures of gaming without trouble from people they could knock out with there penis's

It absolutley sucks that people get so worked up. I can admit I am a bit of a rager (i.e. Get killed and have a small fit) but I keep the shit to myself. I use the death as a learning curve for the next round, and move on.

Lately, I've been hopping around CS servers here and there. The usual, dust2, nuke, inferno, etc. The maps haven't changed much, the servers are regularly the same, and whatnot. But one thing has changed, and I think it took a a wrong turn and affected the overall impression of a gamer.

Whenever I join a server, I always here the other side talking about what they did, what they're going to do, if they're going to LAN or not. Everyone gets along, ocassionaly there is a "faggot" or "bitch you stole my kill" coming from the angry one, but its all good.

Then comes the 12 year old. Calling everyone a nub, screaming at his mom that he wants chocolate milk, blasting music that makes you want to rip your ear drums off, this is what ruins my game all the time. What makes matters worse is that its just not one guy, its everyone around us. At least one player in the CS server hasn't hit puberty yet, and will start using words like n00b, fucker, bitch, and more. These words and actions have tainted the word "gamer", and given us all gamers a bad name.

Back in the day, gaming was only for the mature who can actually handle the harsh reality of killing 4 guys but being unable to defuse the bomb. Back then we had mature gamers, now we have these kids that act nothing near it.

So please, share your thoughts about this ongoing problem.

(Note: I know there are several young players on the boards that may have felt offended, but please take no offense, this was not targeted towards you.)

You know brother I can def feel with you on this one. However, there is nothing you can do. The thing that bothers me more than the kid is the mom getting the kid chocolate milk is planning on banning video games from her state.

Well I have been playing since the first muliplayer game and it is no different than it was then. The only difference is the introduction of in game VOIP. Im sorry if this sounds like Im and asshole but you are 17. Back in the day you werent even old enough to play them yet.

I do agree with you that it does get annoying when people spam on VOIP but it also can be hilarious and make a shitty round fun. I have always been guilty of spamming random text messages when I die to. It passes the time between respawns.

That would suck if that happened. I wouldnt have anyone to kill and laugh at when they cry in chat. Then again i have seen people in their 30s cry more than the under 15 kids. It really doesnt matter how old someone is. If they are a whining bitch then they will cry.

Especially when they kill someone they have the adorned boom headshot macros that automatically send on a kill. Or... when they're whining or talking crap and they have an Admin behind them. in this case, let's say they have skills, and are part of a clan - on a clan server. Usually, when you say stuff to them, the Admin steps in, says a few last words as bad as his, then bans you.

We just gotta deal with it.

I know a kid like this in Real life. He always calls me a nubcake and claims that he eats nubcakes for breakfast. He is 12.

Then he also claims that he "pones" me and that he could beat me in any game. When I suggested we play css together, 1v1. He said "ok, whats the URL?"

One time he was in the room next to me on a camp. As I had my N64 with me he demanded that we play. After countless rounds of me pwning him in Mario Cart he beat me once in a battle, then he claimed that he was in fact superior to me in every aspect of life.

This kind of behavior is not only unacceptable but is making a mockery of the internet and gamers everywhere. Please help fight the problem by flaming people like this before they can affect the world forever.

As much as I agree with the posts in this thread (except banning the internet for people under 13 or something, it should be a maturity test and not an age limit) I think a lot of people have forgotten what gaming is all about. It's not about 'owning' or 'noobs', it's about having fun. Sure competitive gaming is cool and I'm not saying it should go to hell, but we all seriously need to chill and realize that it's just a game designed to entertain people.

I get a lot of immature players in CNC 3.

Every 4 games or so i come across a player that can't take a loss. I spank him here and there and right before I win, he disconnects to save his record.

It is so frustrating after all the time and effort you put in to spanking. Sometimes you come out with nothing.

back in 1999(i was 9-10 that time) when i first played CS 1.3 in a lan party, i was a half noob half pro and i am a very discreet player that never whines to people when im not whined at(remember PP episode 13 when jeremy got pwned in someones xbox 360? i had the same behaviour with his).

whenever i am the last player alive in the team, people aged 11-20 in the lan party started calling me "bonus" otherwise known as "free kill" but i managed to kill all of my opponents which is COUNTER-TERRORIST WIN!. i started talking discreetly saying "where's the bonus? was that bonus or was that a boss?". people started ranting me "SHUT THE FUCK UP BITCH THAT WAS LUCK OR HACK" and some of the n00bs are starting to call threats on me warning me that they'll physically harm me outside. im not the kind of man that fights physically and i never fight back. this made me stop playing CS with little whiners and retards just for their fucking threats. if i had a gun id shoot them all just like kim illin jong did. now i just play on CS lan parties with friends that have decent minds or probably pros.

my very last DotA game was the worst game ever. there's this team(around ages 13-25) in a lan party that was whining that they'd beat every team around. i carried my team that time and i accepted their challenge. well yes, we did beat them and they started whining like "SHIT THESE GUYS REALLY DEFEATED US THEY MUST HAVE USED HAX OR IMBA" and they approached us telling they would want a brawl with us. good thing my team mates we're kung fu guys so we kicked their ass outside. kinda funny really.
