i hate people who say wow begins when you're 60 (when wow was out) and 70 with (BC). You call endless raiding the same old dungeons to get an item with a <1% drop fun?
To me the best part of wow is getting to 60, doing quests, exploring areas, you actaully want to play the game to achive 60... but when you hit it that level the loses all draw.
I quit wow cold turkey, still want to play it at times, but i'm losing wood on it thankfully....

It does. A lot more stuff to do and places to see.

Not many items in instances that have a <1% drop rate. They usually go above 6% on bosses.

I get wood on it, and when I'm done I roll over and fall asleep.

Best times ive ever had in WoW was leveling with my friends and doing the instances for the first time, End game sucks IMO very boring. I really dont know how people can really sit in instances for hours on. I get bored very fast.

Raiding is only fun with a good group of close friends. I tried raiding with a hardcore guild. We couldn't be silly. We couldn't even emote during break times, FFS. The guild I'm in now is a blast. We're good enough to be able to do our jobs while still telling jokes, laughing, and making fun of one another.
Game wise, the allure of leveling a character and going through end game is that constant challenge, that chance to always improve something about you. There's always something for me to work on.
But mostly, it's playing with friends. Without these guys, this game would have gotten boring around level 40.

I remember back in the day before the honor system all everyone would do is world pvp, people weren't into running instances countless amounts of time for items. but thats all it is now, the guild i have right now were trying to bring world pvp back, because fighting within the world and cities is tooooo much fun. It's kinda hard tho that everyone above 60 is in the outlands though, so the world seem a bit dead.
I also hate the difference between a 60 and a 70 compared to the difference between say a 20-30 or a 40-50. I felt BC really put a downside to wow.

Dont pay attention to the story line but just the base of how they want real pvp back, thats what wow should be again. Leading 50 man armies into a small human town and destroying everything, having 50 people run off a boat into a town and mess shit up, if you havent been in a decent world pvp raid group your really missing out on what wow should be.

When I was leveling to 60, the real thing I was looking forward to was World PvP. Sadly, by the time I reached it, battlegrounds has been implemented, and World PvP was over. It was all about Battlegrounds, which, at first, was fun, but then, it was all people wanted to do besides raid. There were still a few "LFM for raid on Tarren Mill!" messages, but when you joined the group... it was never the same. Usually, it ended up disbanding because nobody was defending to make it more fun.
