I'm not very happy to say that I was extremely displeased with the premiere today.. The cast and crew, did and outstanding job with their planning, preparation and presentation of the entire premiere, an obvious evolution from any others I've attended. Yet I'm still VERY agitated, at us, YOU, the fans.
I find that despite the crew's and staff of bloor cinema itself best efforts, the fans outmatched them tonight with pure illogical stupidity. The non-preorder ticket line, as soon as they finished buying, didn't go the back of the line or to a saved spot where they should be going(cause y'know, there's a POINT in pre-ordering! They just CROWDED in front of the line, right at the doors, past the barrier set by the crew.
Agitating about the first 50 people in the line, the barrier was pushed further and further forward and the entire entrance was filled with uncomfortable fans.
They were told to line up in an orderly fashion to get in the theater, but they ignored this, the crew decided just to, well, open the doors, the most violent stampede or retards swarmed into the theater, enraging employee's of bloor cinema leading them to screaming the line into order. Many poeople were crushed, pushed, bombarded or trampled in this particular event and I just felt that pure pwnage fans have once again earned themselves a bad name.
Once we got in I felt that the entire fanbase just seemed to be getting more and more rude and inconsiderate every time I came to a premiere.
Half way through episode 12, they ran into some trouble and the color crapped out, there was NOTHING that could be done, instead of being considerate, this enraged a lot of fans and the crowd just seemed unorderly at times... You guys are supposed to be FANS of these kind people, is there any room for any kind of respect here?! I suppose not.. we watched the new ep in B&W and I for one did not miss the color and think the episode was just as good without it, if not better, I hope that doesn't spoil anything.
The crew then announced they'd be heading up to the upper level for autographs and whatnot.. what happens? The second people get up they CROWD and barricade them on stage and well alright I guess they're just gonna do their stuff right there on stage. I talked to as many people as I could and tbh, the crew seemed a bit stressed.
So, once again, despite their best efforts, the crew and the staff at bloor cinema, with some outstanding preparation and organization this time around, the fans manage to ruin that, all at no one's expense but the people serving them making this EVENT possible.
Congratulations.
I personally only wish it were humanly possible to think of something to keep this from happening again, but I don't believe there is, people just wanna do whatever the hell they want, and not at their own expense.
Please, anyone attending a future premiere either this tour or the next far down the line, try to make this more of an enjoyable event for the people making it possible for you, it's the very least you could do.

I was just going to say that I wholeheartedly agree... while I was one of those "blessedly quiet teens" (hopefully) that was sitting next to Aeros, I sat on teh aisle side of the third row. And could not believe how crazy ppl were getting... even playing ds' and psps throughout the first two repeat eps (i counted 6 ds's and 2 psps while walking back from the n00b store)... Regardless of what is playing or going on, ppl just need to remember that everyone is there to see the eps and meet the cast... not listen to u yell @ the screen...and while i traveled from colorado to be there, i had a blast still, but the eps 13 premiere was still kind of disappointing to me... esp. becuz evry1 wouldn't stop bitching about the B&w due to the faulty projector... seriously, i still wanted to hear the eps...atleast
