Just a quick question, is there a built in mp3 player on cs 1.6 or CZ? Cause I wanna listen to music while I play but I have only 256MB ram and windows media player takes like 10MB. So simple question, anyone know the answer?

BulletProof, you're the n00biest n00b that ever n00bed, and you're very over weight. Yes, there are MP3 players you can download for CS 1.6, I forget what it's called though. Search on Planet Half-Life or something.

Don't you have Winamp or Windows Media Player?

On only 256MB RAM I can't run WMP or WinAmp while I'm playing CS or anything else like that . So I need a built in media player so I can listen to some jams while I'm ownin n00bs on CS 1.6 or CZ

And you think the in-game player would take less ressources? Nah, it's the same thing. I have a 1ghz computer with 256MB and it lagged when I used the in-game mp3 player for The Trenches (I guess it's the same thing).

Nah, in-game media players take way less RAM, it's proven but depends slightly one the game.

This is exactly what has been going on through the entire thread, and it's not the first time either.
You come to us for advice..you just spell out what you want to get, and then ask us if it is okay, and we have to explain why it isn't. That's the world upside down.. If you would just say 'hey guys, I have an X amount of money, what should I buy?' Then this would be over in 2-3 posts, not 2-3 pages.

Every time someone goes against Weiman's sig I feel like they should be bludgeoned for a few minutes in the head to feel the headache I feel when I realize someone really IS that dense.

there is a built in player in cs, its something like , mp3 play "filename"
put the mp3 file in cs folder,
hehe sometimes i listen to a metal gear solid tune while i play, the one off the trailer for the first game before it came out ( where he plants all the bombs around the whole building), gets me in the mood to sneak around

I've heard that u can use winamp or WMP in the background, but i guess that takes up quite a lot of resources.
Listening to tunes while playin css sound daft imo.
