I have recently had to reset my PC to its "Factory Settings" and I have lost all my music. I do however have all of it on my iPod, is there any chance I can take it from my iPod back onto my PC?

Thanks

The only way to do that is with a program to crack Apple's copyright protection stuff. And we aren't allowed to talk about crack/warez on these forums. Sorry. icon_sad.gif

Do some googling though.

That depends on how you feel about the industry's illegal forms of DRM. Steve Jobs wants to get rid of it anyway.

The music is stored in a hidden file on your ipod, set your ipod to hard drive mode, and you can just copy//paste them. (You have to activate show hidden icons under folder options.)

That won't work at all. The music will not be catagorised and won't be named appropriatly (in my case, because of the ml_ipod plugin for winamp, my files are called ml_ipod*randomnumbers.mp3) -- I'm sure the OP doesn't want this

Always worked for me when I had to do it, but then again I have an old 3rd generation ipod.
