lol I suck at this game.
And yeah that was me attempting to figure out how the hell to play the game. Then it was me stabbing other lvl 1 people who had no idea what they were doing. Then I just kinda sat there.

I'm off to figure out how the hell you... "do crazy matrix flips and shit".

On a side note, I just got to lvl 4! Yay! I'm guessing this is going to be like BF2 and wow/RS/silkroad and take forever to level once I get to a certain point.

lol yeah, its pretty fun actually. Just google Gunz. First site should be it, I downloaded international instead of north american by accident lol.
Yeah I read what you said about gunz and CSS and I was just like lol I'll read it later. I tried to minimize to read it but it fucked up my mouse.

I don't know how many times I have to write this out for people. Gunz is HORRIBLY INSECURE. THE NETCODE IS TERRIBLE TO THE POINT OF BEING A SECURITY HAZARD.

Just look at what ports the game opens without your knowledge. It connects you directly to the other people you are playing with, and with those open ports you're just sitting out there wide open for anyone who wants to exploit Gunz. It's so insecure it's scary.

I'm not trying to bash on gunz because I used to play and loved it, got to level 10, was in a clan and everything. But this is just unacceptable to me and I hope more people realize how bad this netcode is.

Don't believe me? Have someone nmap you while you're playing. My friend verified it on his own machine, saw which ports Gunz opens up and how it connects firsthand, and uninstalled it.

thats true. very true. freakin IGUNZ has been down for the last 2 months. yes, and the last 2 months has been my FREAKIN holiday. so no gunz for me during holiday

school in 2 days

nevertheless, great game. probably the best free mmo out there

Isn't gunz a Third Person Shooter/MMO

It has its own genre because its so cool. Its a good game when you aren't playing against guys with rockets coming out of thier swords. >_<

Gunz is so poorly made its hilarious , i remember playing on a server where some guy was just sending out kill packets to everyone.
Id also like to point out that the game is incredibly lame with weapons being unbalanced and such.
eg. you get stabbed you lay there for about a half hour while everyone guns you to bits. =/

I tried this game a while ago.
Not laggy for me had 0 ping...wtf.
Graphics are bland.
Uber sprayage.
Hmm...bunny hop you say? No no, foward bacward side to side spam.
6/10.
Still entertaining...but ill go play Counter Strike Source or whatever.
*Note I still have the game on my computer though, I might play again. Since I have a small game library for my computer. =\

I tried Gunz, and it has a lot of potential, but it falls short in so many ways it's sort of depressing. The gameplay can be really fun with all the crazy wall jumping, turbo moving, the combination of melee and ranged combat, and etc, but the lag, game insecurity, and absolutely incredible number of hackers just ruins the experience. I played it for maybe two days, and I could not find a server without at least one hacker of some sort, and the thing about gunz is that there is no "I think he might be hacking," because hackers are fairly easy to spot. They're the people with rapid-fire full mobility 50 feet splash damage rocket launchers who cannot concievably die even if every member of the gunz online community hits them simultaneously for 10 hours.
