Rare candies suck if you're extremely serious about gaming like a lot of pokemon people.
However, I use a bunch of pokemon that are like 70-80ish when I still play, usually fighting with my (favorite pokemon) Primeape, who is lvl 100.
(For the record, I used to be XTREME pokemon, so I have a lot of high lvled ones..)
I believe the closer look in is a lot like..
Primeape
Hitmonchan
Pidgeot
Raichu
Charizard
Mr. Mime (He's pretty sweet, you know?)
However, I use a bunch of pokemon that are like 70-80ish when I still play, usually fighting with my (favorite pokemon) Primeape, who is lvl 100.

I used to have this ownage Rare-candied party. Here goes...
Mew (used the Mew glitch)
Mewtwo
Dragonite
Articuno
Zapdos
Moltres
Needless to say, my friend was shocked when he thought he could beat my Blue file =P
Also, i'm surprised that some RS fanboy hasn't come in yet and said 'MOFG U GYUZZ SHUD TRI REEL GFAEMZ LIE3K RUN ESCAPE.' Thank you guys, for not being n00bs =P
I think when I finish my file, I'll get my Blue out, use the Mew cheat, and exchange my Pidgeot for a Mew. Or maybe not. I'm trying to make my party alot of cool pokemon, not just lil' uber n00bs like Mewtwo. Without Mew, my Starmie'll be really hard pushed. Having to use Ice, Water, and Psychic. That's Lance, Agatha, and Bruno =/

the pokemon games are probably some of the best rpgs i've ever played and there are many more who can say exactly the same. besides, you can't compare single rpgs and party rpgs, apples and oranges.
zapdos, articuno, rydon, mewtwo, haunter......been close to 5 years since i've played one but i still remember my party

I <3 Psychic Pokémon. My TCG deck was psychic/dark too.
Morrowind and Oblivion suck for many reasons. Both games have crappy third person, and first person fantasy RPGs are just annoying. Morrowind didn't get me involved in the storyline at all, and Oblivion has instant map travel from the start. Wtf?
Also, Oblivion's combat tries to combine FPS with RPG, but fails at both. I weep over the fact that Bethesda are developing Fallout 3, the successor to my two favourite games.
Anyways, let's continue talking about Pokémon instead.
