I really enjoyed Fight Club, and it inspired me to read the book. Although I still enjoy the movie immensely, the book is a much better experience overall.
Also, Oldboy is one of my favorite movies of all time. I don't like movies with excessive amounts of torture, but mental torture is OK I suppose.

I watched Requiem For A Dream earlier, I hesitate to label it as the best but certainly the best I've seen in the last year.
