Hey Guys,
My name is Michelle and I'm the Creative Producer at DivX. At CES last week, we invited celebrity video podcasters/filmmakers to shoot special episodes on our stage for broadcast on Stage6. Jarret and Geoff did a special 45 minute show, which I directed and just finished editing and encoding. For anyone who wants to make their own show, is a big fan of PP or is just bored, I suggest you check it out. In the video, the guys do live commentary on several episodes which they screened onstage for their fans. I was talking on this thread abotu it. That's also where I first linked the part 2 of 2 of this show. That was the PP guys' Wii tournament with Gej (creator of DivX) with/against volunteers from the audience. The video is available in excellent quality Standard Definition here: Pure Pwnage special CES show I have some pictures on my blog too: Michelle Osorio's blog with stills fro the show and so on. Like a noob, I forgot my memory card at home, so I only have two pics I posted previously and one still from the video. Unfortunately, my HD encode came out funky and I have to re-encode it (4 hour encode time on that right now). Let me know what you think! -------------------- Michelle Osorio, Writer and Director of

Crowd didn't really seem to know what purepwnage was, bunch of noobs Thanks for posting btw The crowd was pretty good actually. However, the mics weren't picking up audio from the audience. That's why it sounds so quiet. Probably for the best. SanDisk was down the way giving out free tee shirts, so there was occasionaly screaming from attendees trying to get free stuff. I guess i need to download something but it didn't ever go to Buffering... just stay'd on downloading heading. idk but iwante dto see Geoff and Jerret playing some Wii! The site was down temporarily, so you probably started buffering just as the connection was lost. Site is back up now. Sorry, I'm not affiliated with all the web management stuff. -------------------- Michelle Osorio, Writer and Director of

Very good quality and good information about the content of the DVD and how the show is progressing. The Wii Tennis match was pretty funny as well
Thanks for taking time out to edit and encode the movie, we appreciate it. btw I <3 DivX -------------------- |

Ah, thanks. I like working here. I've gotten spoiled by Stage6 quality, and catch myself trying to double-click on videos somewhere else to watch full screen. When my friends and I release our own internet show in the late Spring, we'll probably make our shows available in alot of formats like PP. DivX, YouTube, etc. Even icky Quicktime.
But I'm pretty loyal to DivX. Where else do I get to play soccer on Thursday afternoons and WoW or BF2 on Fridays??? -------------------- Michelle Osorio, Writer and Director of

HD FTW
-------------------- ![]() ![]() This is exactly what has been going on through the entire thread, and it's not the first time either. You come to us for advice..you just spell out what you want to get, and then ask us if it is okay, and we have to explain why it isn't. That's the world upside down.. If you would just say 'hey guys, I have an X amount of money, what should I buy?' Then this would be over in 2-3 posts, not 2-3 pages. Every time someone goes against Weiman's sig I feel like they should be bludgeoned for a few minutes in the head to feel the headache I feel when I realize someone really IS that dense. |
