I am tempted to make a Dran Mage... but i already have a Human Mage that i love playing... would it be crazy to have TWO level 70 mage's?

Then might as well go ahead. I've already got a shaman and I'm going to remake another one for Frostmane. =) Honestly, if it's what you want to do in the game then go for it, I know people who have played the same class up to sixty four or five times over on warriors.

Meh, it's a game, do what makes you happy. If you get started and don't want to midway whatever. Enjoying yourself is what matters.

He said he was going to make them both to 70 though, just on different servers.

Get the human mage to 70...Draenei and Blood elf...well...
Once your like lvl 20, it's really not like a new experience infact, probably earlier than that
Just stick with the human mage and get him to 70.
