Since there are so many birthday threads always clogging up the General Discushun forum, we've decided we'll have one sticky for it here in Dave's Ice Cream Shack.

The usual rules apply here.
There will be zero tolerance on flaming in this thread. We don't want to ruin anyone's birthday do we? smile.gif

can't believe youre forcing this issue. birthday threads are far from spam, and are in fact a great way of making sure positive posts are made.

Hmm... I agree with Doug on this one, I mean, on your birthday it's nice to be able to be recognized. Birthdays shouldn't all be shoved into one giant thread... perhaps some of the threads do create "+1" kind of spam, but those kind of things appear on every thread.
Maybe there should just be a rule that all birthday threads get deleted after a day or something? I suppose that would be a pain in the ass though... I don't know. I just think a person's birthday is an important event, and usually the threads created do result in very little spam... just my thoughts anyway... if you shove them all into one big conglomerate birthday thread people really won't feel special about it...

i agree but i dont want my own thread like i know you guys are planning. a big suprise party. i dont want it. i dont want presents cookies or cake. mabey a mention in this thread if your really up to it. my birthday is comming up i wont tell you when just check the birthdays or my profile.
