What MMO Should I Play?

Something to keep my interested for 6 months or so.

So far, I've seen these:
PlanetSide- I always saw it as a VERY fun game, what it lacked in graphics, it made up for in gameplay. I've played it about 3 times I believe, about 2 months each time; I end up quitting either from being pissed off at the 10 year old kids that don't know how to follow orders from someone that actually knows what to do, or game mods screwing the game up *cough* double xp day *cough*

Eve Online- Never really played this one at all. I hear it's supposed to be a really great space combat game, but really hard at first. Not really sure if I'd like it.

Dungeons and Dragons Online- Played the demo, and got a raging clue every time the narrator would say something. The game is really neat, but I don't think I gave it enough play to really experience what it really has to offer.

DAoC- I have a level 45 armsman on Merlin, but I quit due to drama with guild mates, and I think the release of other games like WoW and EQ2. The PvP was absolutely orgasmic in this game, and that's a huge part of mmos for me. I haven't heard much about it's development or the player base recently, but this one is definitely a big contendor.



Now, this is only some games I've already played and liked, or have heard great things about. If you guys can suggest any other mmos that you know of, that based upon the games I liked listed above, you think I would enjoy, feel free to post them.

Games I've played recently and don't want to play:
EQ
EQ2
WoW
All Guild Wars Games

I've played both City of Heroes and City of Villains, and gotten a character on both to roughly 20. I really despised that levelling up was simply a grind fest. Every zone was exactly like the last, except the mobs had different names. I'm not going to just count these out, because they showed a lot of promise, so if you like them and think you can really sway me towards them, feel free to.

Try Ragnarok, graphics are something different but the pvp is heavenly and requires skill.

Because WoW is a crappy game with worthless PvP. DAoC all the way. If you really want to play and are willing to start on a different server, hit me up... I can help you out with some cash and maybe a PL. Plus our guild is always recruting (we need a shammy really really bad)

Mby you should try out the demo to Eve. That and try again with the D+D demo. I heard very good things about D+D online, and I'm consitering getting it.

Its D&D not D+D. Dee dee dee.

D&D is good but there is no PvP from what I hear, so I only recomend it to carebears.

realy now? Last I heard they still had no PvP. I will have to check this one out.

Just look for a game you like, there are hundreds of lists of games. If you want something free go look at EuDemons, Conquer or MU. and Astonia is always a good game if you don't mind low setings.

If you don't mind paying I'd reccomend World of Warcraft.

If you're looking for a free game try Tantra Online or Silkroad Online (Tantra has been p2p before But I think it's f2p now) .
