PARTICLES TUTORIAL FINAL PRODUCT

---------------------------------------

Files compressed with WinRAR.
Rendered in .WMV Format

---------------------------------------

Side Notes:

There are many ways to accomplish the looks and methods of the tutorials. After Effects is far too vast for me to briefly explain every single technique available. The possibilities are endless. I didn't cover a lot of details and I highly recommend researching more in-depth methods. These tutorials will help you achieve a better understanding of the given subject and will hopefully inspire and allow you to play / mess around with compositions in After Effects allowing you to create something unique and creative.

Enjoy!

Wow, I've been looking for good tutorials as I'm trying to learn how to use AfterEffects! Thanks for the help!

By the way, what program did you use to capture those tutorials?

If only you made a tutorial on how to do the micro orb effects icon_razz.gif

This is exactly what has been going on through the entire thread, and it's not the first time either.
You come to us for advice..you just spell out what you want to get, and then ask us if it is okay, and we have to explain why it isn't. That's the world upside down.. If you would just say 'hey guys, I have an X amount of money, what should I buy?' Then this would be over in 2-3 posts, not 2-3 pages.

Every time someone goes against Weiman's sig I feel like they should be bludgeoned for a few minutes in the head to feel the headache I feel when I realize someone really IS that dense.

Camtasia Studio 4

Wei - the whole energy ball / orb effect is pretty common. I'm sure numerous tutorials could be found on the effect or similar effects through some searching. I'll look in a bit, if I find anything I'll give ya some links.

Yes! You're the 2nd person to recognize him icon_smile.gif

I made sure to give Andrew credit in the description at Youtube. Purchased this as well to support him more.

I don't really have much use for it until I get off a DV Camera. Hoping to buy a DVX100A as a decent starter cam, the XL2 is nice but its too much for what I want right now, I have to catch up on what's new though, last time I did a lot of research was last year.

Thanks!

This inspired me to get after effects. I did all the tutorials and used some of the techniques to make this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zyv_uXQnNos

$5 says the other one was FireFly. $10 says that it was someone with no more than 3 degrees of separation from Firefly.

Always make a saftey bet, kids.

Well I think the first place to go is here.

A guy named Aharon Rabinowitz put's out a new After Effects tutorial every 1-2 weeks. It's really high quality info and he teaches it well. Sometimes Kramer comes on and guest hosts, in case that matters to you.

I'd reccomend watching all of them sooner or later, even if you don't directly need what the tutorial is about. I've picked up A LOT of information in some of the tutorials that I've been using for other applications than what the tutorial was about.

Ah yes - CreativeCow has many resources for beginners.

If you really want to learn some depth of the program - Total Training's Steve Holmes has a tutorial DVD which has hours upon hours of content, covering everything from general preferences to the interface, to advanced compositions, etc.

It does cost money, of course - but look up Total Training in google. They have more than one DVD on After Effects, such as broadcasting, new features, etc.

I actually had a look at that, it costed quite a bit of money though, might have to just do it another way, but yeah your tutorials are really great, i'm just learning more and more every second I watch, i've been on video-copilot watched almost everything then some other various sites and now yours each time I picked upa bunch of stuff so evntually i'll start putting it all together.
