I actually kind of enjoy awkward situations, at other people's expense... I'll sometimes do things to make the situation even more awkward

Ahahah my friends used to play the "get eachother into awkward situations game" way too much. Like, we'd see someone and be like, OK, you will be looking foolish today. And then we'd all make the situation as awkward as possible for one person. Good times, unless you were the person getting pwned. It happened to me a few times... at inopportune places... a LAN café... a resteraunt... numerous parties... we used to play another game in which we tried to get "the look" from people... that awkward look people give you when you've done something socially unacceptable and they can't do anything about it... ahhh the look...
But anyway, about getting out of awkward situations, I recommend just blurting it all out. Awkwardness is usually created because you're afraid of whatever you want to say. So just say it. If you saying something makes it awkward, say something else. Awkward silences don't die. They linger.

i usually just smile and kinda lighty jump up and down and look around, and they usually go "WTF?? are you doing?" or "WTF is wrong with you?" me response: "I JUST LOVE AWKWARD MOMENTS!!"
and it usually fails miserable or look at your oddly for a second and just laugh. Whheeee or turn to them and just so a random face. works for me too !! wheee just gotta know what people to do it too.. But i rarely get into awkward situations with people. Instead i create them for other people. Such as INVISION two people making out, that have no clue who you are. Then you tap the guy on the shoulder and say "may i cut in?" hehe

Right then, I told the girl I like to ask out another guy, really hard and awkward for me, then she asked why I was so ... well sad, and I said cause I like her and stuff, then she asked why hadn't I asked her out, and I said "Cause I'm kinda shy and like to let things fall in place" then she said "we'll i'm not asking you out" .... so I think she just challanged me.... a challenge I am not going to face up to, its strange cause when I confessed all my feelings the other day, she pretty much just laughed in my face.
