I have been playing HL2 Deathmatch reguarly for about a week and just a few minutes ago while playing there was a strange graphical fault on screen. It was like a big triangle of gray texture that follows where my mouse moves. I dont think it's heat, because my PC is very well ventilated and relativaly dust free.

stop spamming god, you all know what hes asking. grow up.
id say the game may of installed weird, like a courpt file or something, or your graphics card natrually produces these kinda of glitches on that game. I would check with the support site a bit.

It's happened once, it could be onje of those things where your PC just hangs for a little then catches up badly. I see no question mark in his post.
Anyway, he's not posted since so it's obviously not happened.

my friend had the exact same thing, i think its related to a heat issue, well the video card is like just overheating a bit, he has a fanless 9600pro and it runs quite hot, he just sticked a fan on it and no problem

Would have said heat, but as it's only happened the once I thought it was just a coincidence.
