Yep I think it's happening to most of Valve's games. I was in a DoD 1.6 then one second later more the 2/3 of the people were kicked.

Its happening in Japan too...

I checked out the steam forums and many people are having the same problem. ALso, the steam website takes about 1 minute to load between pages, maybe its a server down?

Anyway, its annoying and I hope its fixed before tomorrows scrim...

I am getting this at the moment when trying to connect to a game of DoD. Also, earlier I must have witnessed it when over 15 of the players in the game left at once and the screen reading that they'd left because they didn't own the game.

Keeps happening on the clan servers too.. more than half of players get kicked off.

I havent been- perhaps because I own a german copy...

Apparently its ppl hacking steam, but I really dont know if thats true.

I just went to Steam's site and it is indeed taking an age to load.

I thought it was kinda funny when it happened to others in my game earlier, one time fuck up you know? Oh well, not laughing now.

If it makes you guys feel any better, I played about 7 scrims today in 1.6 and haven't had the problem once.

Yeah, I was playing today, just having fun with my friend when all of a sudden, a message comes up saying "You don't own this game, please login to the correct account". It ticked me off because I legally owned the game (bought it with HL2 retail), and its still not working. I go to the steam support forums which then crashed few minutes later. I think its a major malfunction on steam's part...

actually, you might be right. just went to a 66 tick server and nothing happened, was there for about 25 min.
