I call horseshit. The Hurt Locker is awful. Green Zone is only a little bit better.
Last movie I watched was Get Him to the Greek.

It's now nearly 4am, and I'm looking through various websites loling at people who somehow thought that the ending was more than just black and white. I mean I'm tired, but christ, those people posting must be fucking delirious. Extremely original and thought-invoking. 145 Stars.

Awesome Movie, I love all the part of resident evil ,this time Alice is back ,the first part is all action where the Alice clones all die and Alice becomes human, and then the middle is sorta the zombies killing all the black guys, then the ending is them saving like 2,000 people aboard an umbrella ship.

Finally watched Avatar, personal taste was like meh. I can see where all they hype came from but it didn't really kick it for me.
Watched the Butterfly Effect Trilogy back to back. 1st was pretty good, 2nd was crap, 3rd seemed like it would be crap, but surprised me a bit at the end although tbh after watching the 2nd one I wasn't paying as much attention while watching the 3rd.
Watched Hostel 1 & 2. Again, I was expecting more. I'd hoped it would have a more terrifying element to it, rather it ended up just being snippets of pure hopeless terror on the part of the victims, and then mindless gore which didn't even stand in comparison to the likes of the newer SAW movies. I'm not usually a fan of mindless gore, but its got to shock me otherwise why put it in at all. The likes of House of Wax and Texas Chainsaw Massacre had better horror elements to them in that suspense is built up in anticipation before a victim is captured, during which they almost get away and then eventually fall prey to a gruesome death. Hostel seemed to go straight to the gory death with little cinematic terror buildup for the audience.
Shutter Island, was a pretty decent mind twister. I'd put it close to the likes of The Prestige, Inception and Memento in my favourites.
Machete, this one I didn't know what to expect so I wasn't really let down on any preset opinions. But I did find it to be in the leagues of Crank and Crank: High Voltage, a movie that doesn't really try to fit into any realistic bounds nor does it really step out of reality into fantasy or sci-fi in any way. Its basically no nonsense on steroids, without the use of cinematic tricks or ploys to make things seem "epic" or "cool" crazy stuff just happens as though its normal and leaves you to raise your eyebrow.
Today I tried watching the first Lord of the Rings movie, I think I lasted 3 hours before I turned it off. The storyline is not really what I usually go for so I think it just dragged on for a lot longer than I could take. It wasn't bad, it just didn't tickle my fancy.
I know some of these movies are pretty old, but I don't watch movies that often, when I do I usually like to watch a few at a time though and then I won't watch any for a couple months.
EDIT: Ok, so that's what I'm like at 2:30 am when I'm tired, but still wide awake after two 500ml cans of energy drink, coke and coffee. Sorry to everyone who read this wall of text.

Is that true, is it an awesome movie? This is coming from a skeptical Resident Evil fan, who loved the first two and then thought the 3rd Extinction movie really slaughtered it...

Love how the resident tough guy is happy to talk trash on an internet forum but back pedals as soon as he is called out. Typical coward. No doubt he'll respond to this with excessive bravado in order to restore his rightful place as a fully fledged internet badass.
I like to make werewolf...

Dredd.
It's a bit shit.
If Judge Anderson wasn't so hot, even with her ridiculous hair/wig, I probably wouldn't have finished watching it.

^Shame. It looked like it had potential....at least tell me it was better than the stupid Stallone movie?
Last movie I saw was The Hobbit. I felt exactly like I did when I watched the Fellowship of the Ring: "Is it over already? It was just gettin' good....crap..." So yeah, took a while to develop and then just when it was getting going: "Tune in to the next installment in a couple of years!" ![]()
