Watch everyone's favorite MIT graduate save the world again in record time. Previously he was armed with his trusty crowbar and a gauss, now the physicist does it with his mere hands and superior knowledge of real world physics simulated accurately by the source engine.

Old tricks and a load of new ones. Gordon even makes a few visits back to clipbrushland which is a favorite among HL runners. And grenade jump is given a whole new meaning thanks to the wonders of Combine weaponry. Even the vehicle part has some crazy stunts.
Simply pwnage, some techniques deserve to be honoured with whole games/mods dedicated to them.

i mean, he carries barrels with him, jumps around like a maniac, and throws stuff.

Seen the vids before, they were awesome. I wonder how long it took the guy to remember where to go and how much time it took to get it perfect.

It was done by a team, different parts, different ppl. Read what they have to say about the tricks. (its at the speedrun site, that link).

This speedrun impressed me more than anything else, these guys are pro.

Its for insecure ppl to make themselves feel better. Mods here should be less lenient about "get a life" spam posts like a few in this thread.
