..sucks, from the bad storyline to sometimes bad filming and the trailer is 100% misleading, the only good thing about it is at the end gunfight the guns look real and the sound on them is amazing, but its also stupid at the end cause you have snipers on the roof looking at the guys and not shooting, I mean come on wtf is that? The kinda love story in it is pointless. It starts off stupid aswell because about 10 mins in it totally changes from whats happening and the first mins are also very pointless.

Too much horrible Collin Farrel.
Not enough amazing Jamie Foxx.
Tom Cruise should replace Farrel and it would have been a lot better.

Impressive gunfight scenes (Michael Mann's style), but for the rest quite boring...

I walked out of the theater 50 minutes in, quietly of course, unlike some film critics. It is amazing that such a great director, with a great cast, and lots of money, couldn't come up with a good picture. It has a lot to do with the general business model of the industry. The business model picks films on risk that would be more likely to make the most money against marketing statistical success. The HUGE problem with this business model, is that it should be "what makes a quality film" against what will have the highest future returns. The current model uses statistical techniques like Nielsen ratings which are VERY flawed and tests directors on whether they made money in the past versus will their upcoming project make money. I bet I could try and make a game model for picking a good movie to see...
