well ive recently purchased WoW and ive been playing it very well no lag for a day and tonight when i wanted to log in and play a bit with my priest i got to playing for 20 minutes and it froze and disconected me from the server and i had to replug my modem to play but then the same thing happened again and it wont stop so can anyone help me

Is it just WoW that freezes up? Any other online applications that can still run after WoW freezes, like a chat client, or a browser, or maybe another online game?

GIVE US SYSTEM SPECS
It's kinda common sense if its just wow running bad then it wow if its all your game then you do a big boy scan

As for the freezing. Maybe you play on a high-populated server? If so then turn off everything else, like MSN etc..

if on EU, this is probably the problem, I'm experiencing it too while other people in my guild have no problems at all.
it's being worked on but last time this happened was about 2 weeks ago(I didn't experience it cause I got it last tuesday but I read it on the forums, when it first happened last sunday there was a 14 page thread by the time I found it. ofcourse blizzard tech support didn't work on sunday(hey who would if your customers pay you about 72 MILLION dollars a MONTH).
no solution as of yet, they're giving crap about posting your ISP blablabla, my internet works fine, it's WoW/Blizzards fault
hope us WoW addicts find an answer soon.

Well, you see. The only thing with WoW is usually you won't get any lag but then the server reaches it's full capacity it get's quite ugly. We we're in ZG yesterday and we got 3 consecutive lag spikes (of about 5-10 sec each) and well a bunch of people DCed randomly. We also suspect that when the server is full, to let more people play, it DCs on purpose other players. I'm saying that because at some point half my guild just disconnected at the same time (Half the guild that was online at that moment). So if it continues, you may have some kind of hardware problem but, I don't see what it would be.
