Crap, we did it again...

Also, how's Mnemosyne going? I haven't gotten caught up with it yet.

Wow, you guys scare me o_0 I found and watched Episode 4 yesterday.. how long has it been out?

I reckon the series is fucking awesome. I mean, what's not to like about tons of gore, sex, and an informant that demands lesbian sex or otherwise our heroes will not solve the mystery?

(edit: ah, early May.. that's some scary timing.., also using Dohremi subs)

You come to us for advice..you just spell out what you want to get, and then ask us if it is okay, and we have to explain why it isn't. That's the world upside down.. If you would just say 'hey guys, I have an X amount of money, what should I buy?' Then this would be over in 2-3 posts, not 2-3 pages.

also MOAR ANGELS

Aw, seriously? TBH, they don't need legions of them running around, lol.

I watch it for the catfights, TBH.

Ok I've been in search of a specific type of anime lately. I figured maybe someone here would be able to help me out. I want to get into a series that can pull a man to tears, not that I.. cry when I watch anime but you know.

what kind of tears?

manly tears of awesomeness - sure to ensue if you watch Gurren Lagann,

but if you want horribly heart rending tears of sadness

Kanon or Clannad both have their moments.

Code geass has also brought a tear to my eye on a couple of occasions. (guess when for a free cookie.)

Well it just depends on how deep you get into a show and how much you like..relate yourself to the characters. Sadness will immediatly ensure with any sort of BAD END if you do icon_razz.gif

Welcome to the NHK made me shed a couple tears, but then they were happy tears at the end.

Just me I guess, but like weiman said it's pretty much based on the person.

Also anatomy: Mnemosyne subs can be found at Shinsen-Subs icon_wink.gif

Kimi ga Nozomu Eien, Clannad, Haibane Renmei, Bokurano, Mahoromatic and Speed Grapher. They're all saddening in some way..

Gurren Lagann and School Days are guaranteed tear jerkers to any man though.. but more for the fact that such gods of men would have to be struck down in such ways icon_cry.gif

WHY KAMINA! WHY!?!

Not always.. I mean Kimi ga Nozomu Eien was just plain tragic overall rather than BAD END.

Special Administrative Zone massacre? It shocked the shit out of me because I suddenly realised that anime can really do whatever the hell it wants without repercussions. The whole series is pretty emotional really.

No tears though. I just crushed a beer can against my head and beat up my neighbour. MANLY LIKE.

well.. the bit just before that where euphie is trying to fight against the geass, coupled with when she goes out and starts shooting up the place.

and also when lelouch wipes shirely's memory and then she's just standing there in the rain and says "did you lose a loved one too?" or something like that.
