UTG is a cheap Chinese knock off company. They make great tactical gear but most people are not convinced on the quality of their airsoft weapons. The UTG MP5 has earned trust by many, this AK47 is new to the market and many are weary of it since a good airsoft will cost you 300+. The UTG AK47 runs at 139+tax USD. They also make a cheap sniper rifel that goes for under onehundred dollars. The next one I am getting is a Tokio Mauri FAMUS. she is ugly, but boy does she perform.
The car is a long bed btw. My buddy picked it up for $100.00 several years ago from a really nice, and old original owner. He has only had to put in three hundred dollars of repair. Sad part is that thing did have neon green paint but old imports did not have clear coats thus the paint has faded considerably.

There has been quite a bit of fallout related to the UTG AK but I did not receive a bad gun by any means. I have fired over 20 to 30K worth of BB's through it and have not had any problems.
The hi-cap mags that come with it just plain suck; ill give it that much. I’m purchasing a Classic Army all metal 600round clip for her. As it stands now the current clip miss-feeds so much I cant use full auto.
I've managed to hold (and win) out against a TM P90 & TM MP7A1 (whom had the high ground). In fact the guy with the P90 ran away when I started charging up the hill pushing a 50-gallon oil drum toward his position. Boy did he get nailed in the back/neck.
The UTG MP5 has earned respect from what I have seen and heard. Perhaps the AK will as well, I have a lot of work to do to her though. Next up is the FA-MUS

Both, I prefer urban however there are very few areas that I know of to play urban. In Eastern Washington there is an abandoned US military radar facility that is unfortunately 8 hours away from the Puget Sound lowlands. Quite a few from arisoftpacific.com play there.
